I thought Sister Act was rumored for the Marquis?
I've heard Priscilla is looking at the Marquis, while Sister Act wants the Broadway or the St. James.

I don't think Priscilla would fit in the Nederlander. Apparently they have a huge physical production.

For Sister Act? Richard Rogers would a no-no again because of size. Should the Palace become available (which it probably will) I can see it going there.

I love the the Hirschfeld. I saw my first Broadway show there so it has a special place in my heart. According to Playbill - previews start Feb. 24, 2011. I was hoping to see David Hyde Pierce as J.J. Biggley - but I don't think La Bete closes until early Feb - the 3rd or 4th I believe. So I'm a little disheartened with the Feb 24 preview date.
Is it possible he could join the cast and be ready to go by the 24th of Feb without exhausting himself, or am I hoping for too much of my favorite actor.

While I'm also hearing that the Marquis is the first choice for the producers of SISTER ACT, the really ideal theater for the show (in terms of fitting the physical production) would be the Broadway, which I also imagine will be in play come the spring.
I'm interested to see where it ends up.
