Anyone else gone lately? Any suggestions for what time we should get there tomorrow morning?

There is no show tomorrow, so I wouldn't get there at all!

Oh, I see! Thanks for the heads up. Any recs for what time to get there next week on a weekday then?

Honestly? If it were me, I'd wait until the week after Harry Potter comes out, maybe even two weeks. I have friends who work in the area that walk by the theatre every day, and say it's gotten crazier the closer it gets to the premiere of the movie.
But, if you want to go, no later than 8 am and I'd definitely go on a Wednesday so you have two shows and therefore more tickets to choose from.

Oh, I forgot that the movie is going to affect that... Is the original cast in for the rest of the summer? Going in August may be a better idea.
I can't actually go to a matinee. My friend works in the neighborhood, so he was going to wait for tickets before going into the office.
I'm looking to go next wednesday, has anyone been within the past week to tell me how rush has been now that Potter is open?

Thinking of trying this weekend. Is this Rush cash only?
Arrived last Saturday at 8am. Quite a fairly big line (which obviously grows over time), but they do release a lot of rush tickets, and opt for a matinee if you can, as the majority are trying for the evening. I paid cash, but I can't remember if they accept cards or not, sorry.

Does anyone know how many Rush tickets are available for each performance?
Since Wed/Sat have two shows, are they selling Rush for Mat/Eve at the same time? So say, if I want matinee show and it's all gone, I can get the evening show?
There is no set amount, but they usually have a good deal. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't most/all rush tickets orchestra extreme sides--i.e., the kind of tickets that are basically unsellable at full price (unless you're BoM or WICKED)?

It always depends on the show. Most shows, you can score pretty decent seats at rush price, usually in the Orch or Mezz.
We're talking about this show specifically here.
My bad... :P

Another question, which is better, Orchestra or Mezz row A?
I want to get the ticket for Jan, but $132 + service fees are quite steep. But I'm worried that I may not get any Rush ticket. Gotta see Darren Criss on Broadway :)
Depends on where in the orchestra you're talking. However, I don't think you can ever go wrong with the first row of the mezzanine.

The best one I found for Orch is around row L center, or Mezz row A center. Will Mezz A too far from the stage?

Anyone know how it has been since school started? I'm planning to go tomorrow morning and wondering what time I should get there.
Thanks.

I think rush has been a bit better. My friend and I went to the box office last Wednesday at around 3 PM and easily got two box seats. The mezzanine was quite empty, so we ended up moving to the front mezzanine. I know it was a two show day, but hopefully, this will give you some indication of when to arrive.
Good luck getting tickets!
I rushed it on Sunday 9/18. I arrived at 9 a.m. and was about 7th in line. Each of the people in front of me only got one ticket. I was given C12, and thought it was a great view for the price. People didn't arrive in droves until about 11:00 (of course, since the box office opened at 12:00, arriving later wasn't the worst move). I'm not sure how many rush seats were given, but there were about 50 people in line. The house looked packed.

Rushed this morning. I got there at 8:30 and was 7th in line. Didn't really start to get crowded until around 9:30. Even then it didn't seem that long from what I hear.

I sent my friend who works near the theater to rush for us today. I told him to get there at 9:15am. Well, he didn't go until 3:30pm but still managed to get two tickets. I didn't think that would work if it wasn't a Wednesday.

Yes, I figured any day Tuesday - Thursday wouldn't be bad for rush, but I still thought you wouldn't be able to walk up in the middle of the afternoon if it wasn't a two-show day (Wednesday).
