Good luck to all who are auditioning on Sunday. I guess we will know EVERYTHING by either the end of this week or the middle of next week. They got the last of the Link tapes on Friday and the dancers will be cast on Sunday. They already know who everyone else is. This is really exciting. Ladies.....keep your fingers crossed.

I ran into someone who knows someone who knows someone and, from what they said, my name got bandied about a bit. Apparently, they found me too tall (as well as too old). Well... They said 5'3 or under. I'm 5'2. Thought I was in the clear. But he said they really want someone 5'0 or shorter. So all you over Fives, take heart. I mean, it's not like you can shrink.

Still... wish there was any news at all. Would love to put this to bed.

Even if you are a dancer, you have to work as a local hire. They won't pay any expenses, so I am thinking they will be hiring TO based dancers. I was at the audition last Thursday, and they were typing out. They were basically looking for a certain look. Not too many blonds made the cut (after 8 counts of freestyle dance). They loved the redheads!!!!!!

Lori Eve Marinacci, who currently plays Shelley and understudies for Tracy in the Las Vegas show, had an audition for the movie yesterday.

I am not sure what part she auditioned for or how it went. However Lori Eve wrote in refernce to the audition... "...THAT was a bust."

They really are taking there time with these auditions... I guess thats a good thing. I also like that they are looking at people who have been in or are currently in the show.

Hopefully we hear something this month.

I just heard that my friend Hayley was cast as a dancer in the film. She found out yesterday morning. She is currently splitting the part of Penny in the touring show.

Congrats to Miss Hayley. Does anyone know anything else? I wonder if they called the rest of the dancers. I know a few people who auditioned.

Ok I live in Toronto... are they casting here for extra's or anything... what about Shelley and all them? I WOULD die to be an extra in it!
