Are Hadestown American Express Presales being handled by Seatgeek? There's no way to see by a seating chart what seats are available. I thought Seat Geek was a resale site? Any info or links would be helpful. Thanks.
Yes, they are also now doing initial sales, as well. I've not used them before, but have heard that you don't get to pick your seats - very dissappointing.

I was absolutely able to choose my own seat. You need to click on the section you're interested in and all available seats will be visible. If you hover over them you will see the prices too. I booked on the desktop though, not mobile.
Once on an event page, towards the top right of the screen you should see a plus and minus sign. If you click the plus sign a few times, it'll zoom in on the seating chart and you will be able to see all available seats and pick the ones you want.
You cannot choose your seats on the app, only on the full site. If you want to choose your seats on a mobile device, you need to open the site in a browser window.

Thanks for the help. Seats in the first 4 or 5 rows are not available - I know change is inevitable but so far not thrilled with Seat Geek as an original sale ticket outlet. Would be curious how others are feeling!

I did, thank you! I splurged on Centre Orchestra Row G premium seats for the October 9 matinee. I'm excited to be seeing this show again, as it was the last one I saw on Broadway before everything shut down.
Thank you again for all of your assistance leading up to this presale :)
Those are great seats, UWOtorontoboy! Glad you got them and happy to help.
I don't think SeatGeek is as bad as some people are saying, but my only complaint is that you can't get an overview of what seats are available in the whole theatre at once. By the time you zoom in enough to see the seats, you can only see a limited part of the theatre, and then you have to scroll. In that way, it's inferior to Ticketmaster, but, otherwise they're fairly similar, and at least SeatGeek lets you buy a single seat out of a lone pair.
Basically, if you can use your PC for this, it's a lot easier to choose your own seats. I personally hated the layout, interface and felt it was more difficult to find seats. And I think the fees are a few more dollars than TM or Telecharge.
Promo code CROOKED will get you $10 off your first order from a new account.
(That's the theatre/politics crossover for today!)

Thank you :)
Seat Geek s****ks.
At 10 I got right in, but when I changed the date, it threw me out. and back on the line. I signed in again and got online. In 8 minutes, it went to end of line and stalled. Never connected. Waited 20 mins. Gave up. Signed in again and got right in.
Very user unfriendly. Telecharge still best ticketing platform. SF is even substandard to TM.
