the show is not currently running, and prob will extend being on break....so she prob has no clue when she's coming back, so she prob took it down for now.

For how long I wonder? Hadestown is slated to return tomorrow but Hamilton in LA is extending their break until January 26, so I wonder if other Broadway shows will extend theirs as well.

Hadestown will return tomorrow unless we are told otherwise. As for if other shows cancel through Jan 26, we’ll have to wait and see how things go.

This to me is not shocking since she HATES nyc so much haha I'm actually more surprised she came back after the shut down! 

I might have to revisit the Broadway show right before I see the tour in Philly. Broadway has pretty much a new cast now

Omg I didn't know this! I wonder why she hates NY? I believe* she is playing Eurydice on her final date. I'm supposed to see the show this month so I'll def report back on who is there. A few people said Reeve was supposed to be filming the Jeff B. bio during this time but on Instagram repostings, it seems he's still with the show.

I hear Morgan's portrayal of Eurydice is phenomenal on the tour!

Anyone know if Reeve Carney was in / out this weekend?  Saw the show with his understudy and loved it, but really want to catch him in it and may go tomorrow......just checking my odds here, lol.

I have a short trip into town this weekend. Looking at Sunday night tickets. Any reason to believe anyone will be out this weekend?

Wait, so do we know when/how long Reeve is going to be out for? Will he have a temporary replacement, or will Trent Saunders step in (I believe they also hired a new Orpheus swing recently - Sayo Oni if I recall)? 

I'm seeing Khaila's departure show, I'm really happy that she gets to do her final show as the lead role. I wonder if it was intentional or just a stroke of luck. But I'm mostly curious if Reeve will also be out then and we'll get an understudy/swing for both Eurydice AND Orpheus. I know Reeve is somewhat divisive, but I personally really like his Orpheus, though I am interested in seeing others in the role! I saw John Krause, was supposed to see Trent Saunders but the show got cancelled due to Omicron.

I saw Hadestown last week (my second time, the first one was pre-COVID). In the Playbill (https://imgur.com/a/qehWfLT), Jordan Dobson was listed as Orpheus (with a photo and bio and everything), but Reeve Carney performed and he got an "at this performance" slip instead. I couldn't find anything online about Jordan Dobson as Orpheus.The website also still lists Reeve Carney as Orpheus, so I found this very interesting!

ETA: The Playbill is dated December 2021 although I saw it last week on Jan. 5.

Lana Gordon (Persephone alternate) is normally scheduled on Sundays. I don't know how that works on 2 show Sundays though.

Agreed, this is interesting.. 

I found a Playbill from Dec 2021 on ebay with Reeve still listed but no mention of that guy. 

So I googled his name.. On Dec 09, 2021: ". Jordan Dobson, who was cast as Laurie, departed the production after Sunday's performance due to being called into a Broadway production." {link}. Maybe Jordan Dobson is the replacement while Reeve is out? I don't have IG so I can't check he's been tagged by anyone at Hadestown yet. If not the replacement and Reeve is leaving, then someone royally messed up here.

Jordan Dobson is listed on the official site thru January 30th so I guess they printed with him as official Orpheus.

Per reddit, Jordan's first night was last night. Strange that they'd print the playbills with him in December though.
