Love to see the continued representation and diversity in this cast. Any chance Damon Daunno will be coming back to this show tho?

^^ I personally would love to see Damon Daunno come back to Hadestown. I doubt it though... but you never know! I hate that I missed him in Oklahoma!.

Oh he’s LEAGUES better than Reeve as Orpheus.

I’m probably minority but I very much disagree. I couldn’t stand his Orpheus at NYTW. He was my big complaint at the time. The character was also much different then as well though. I’ve since seen Damon in other things and really enjoyed him, so I’d be curious to see him play the role now and see if it was him or the role I didn’t like at NYTW.

Just saw today's matinee and I must say that I enjoyed Jordan Dobson more than Reeve....Reeve kinda irritated me.

Hoping I can get a box seat between now and January 30.

i saw him for the first time the last preview before they opened and he was hella irritating. Saw him again in 2021 and he was less irritating/goony. Still want to see DD on Broadway in this!

Do Orpheus understudies take on the same mannerisms as Reeve? I understand and love his portrayal of someone seemingly on the spectrum. Just curious how it works if it's not done that way.

Anthony just posted a story and said he's on as Hermes all weekend.

Interesting about Anthony, given he's left the show! I hope everything's okay with André and his usual swings/understudies.
Has anyone seen Jordan Dobson yet? How's his Orpheus? I'm excited to see him and Khaila next Saturday (so far I've seen Eva and Jessie as Eurydice, and Reeve and John as Orpheus, so this'll be a completely new pair for me - and the fact that it's Khaila's last show and Jordan's temporary run makes it extra special!), but I also have no idea what to expect given I haven't heard any reviews or seen any footage of him! Most other swings/understudies/replacements I've heard in concert, or even just instagram live covers - but I really have no idea what to expect for Jordan! I'm sure he'll be amazing, though.

I've seen Hadestown 10+ times and have seen varying combos of leads and understudies. Reeve is the only Orpheus I've seen and I'm not overly fond of his performance. I am looking forward to seeing Nicholas Barasch on tour to finally see a different Orpheus. I'm seeing LSOH in Feb but unless there is a must see combo at Hadestown (Orpheus u/s, Jewelle u/s Persephone, and T u/s Hermes), then I might grab a ticket to Hadestown instead. But, unlikely since I'm seeing the tour a few days later.

T. is a must see for Hermes, but I don't think that there are any specific combos that are essential.

I guess I should have been more clear that is my must see combo to get me back to Broadway's Hadestown anytime soon.
I agree- T is a must see. I can't stand Andre.

I saw Jordan! I thought he did really good but I was expecting Reeve. I assume he's filming the biopic now?

I don't think it's anything serious with Andre. He just celebrated his 76th birthday and I think he took off the weekend to celebrate a bit more. (assuming here)

Update - someone on Reddit said the Jeff Buckley bio filming has been pushed back until March. Do we know why Reeve is absent?
