How has Andre's attendance been recently? I finally convinced my friend to see it in a couple weeks before Andre leaves the show, so it would definitely be a bit disappointing if he's out!

I know Trent posted on his IG a few weeks ago about April cover dates and mentioned "a bunch of dates coming up in May," so I'm curious if anyone has heard of any planned cover dates? Personally, I'd be thrilled to see Trent in the role since I've seen both Andre and T. Oliver Reid as Hermes.

My friend saw the show on the 30th and told me that Andre was not performing.

He wasn’t in the show last night so I guess third time the charm didn’t work for me. I was hoping to finally get to see him but at this point it’s not going to happen.

I do have a question though. Watching Reeve Carney last night he was making some facial expressions I had not seen in the other two times. Can’t really explain it but it was odd. Also last night a huge bug was flying all over the stage during act 2.

Any word on whether Andre is in today? I was going to walk up and buy a ticket, but I’ll gladly come back later in the month for him until I finally catch him.

Reeve Carney varies his Orpheus characterization a lot. Sometimes he plays Orpheus more like that than other times. As for the bug, maybe it was just trying to make its debut

From what I’ve heard, which should always be taken with a grain of salt, he was starting back up after the weekend and should be there. If he’s not, my sincere apologies

I know Gilded Age Season 2 started filming. So Patrick might be in and out even after this week as he was bumped to a season regular.

does anyone know if Andre will be back tomorrow night(Wed).  The only reason I got tickets was to see him again before he leaves.  If not, do you think I can get a refund?  Thank you

They said no at the box office when I asked them this very question.

The woman I spoke to was callous and trying to burn as few calories as possible to help me, so you may have better luck asking a different box office representative.

I feel for you on this. I’ve tried unsuccessfully three times to see him. I plan to try the matinee tomorrow - but I can’t do the online lottery because if I buy it and he’s not in…I really want to see him and Patrick Page together.

I’ll post tomorrow what I learn at the box office.

Ah, that would explain it then! I’m bummed that absence wasn’t mentioned on the show’s website. I don’t think I’ll see the show again before he leaves, but I look forward to seeing him in Death of a Salesman! And I’m glad I got to see him as Hermes twice (including the reopening performance, which I will always cherish).
 

I will say that T. Oliver Reid was on FIRE tonight. I saw him perform the role back in January but tonight’s performance was on another level.
