Posted: 10/18/21 at 1:13pmRealistically Lana’s shows can be any combo of 2 shows over the course of the week: 2 on Wednesday, 2 on Saturday, 1 Tuesday and 1 Thursday, 1 evening and 1 matinee, 2 evening shows, etc. We only know this week that she will not be in either show on Saturday. We won’t know Lana’s show schedule until someone announces it or we figure out a pattern over the next few weeks.

I was thinking the same! Amber could mix it up and decide to take off on certain dates (unless there is a pattern, which I had assumed there would be, but who knows?) I wonder when Amber will leave the show though. I remember someone saying there was a likelihood of Amber and Patrick leaving the show first, then Eva and Reeve at a later time.
And an Eva Noblezada fan account said they have tickets to see her in Hadestown in April? So she'll still be with the show by then, I assume.

I know Amber was rumored to leave the show March / April 2020 as well as a handful of cast changes. I'm glad she's with the show but I dont think she will stay much longer. I'd think we might get a new cast or some changes sometime this spring so we'll see.

That's what I was thinking! I believe the cast (or a new one) will be announced in the spring but we still have tons of time until then.
Patrick just posted about why he isn't returning until mid November on Instagram. He said the shows from November 2 - 7 will be wonderful as always.

Tara Jackson and YaYa Reich were on as Workers on Sunday, and YaYa also made their Fate debut on Saturday. Khaila was a Fate as well. And as others have said, Lana Gordon or Afra played Persephone during those shows. I know that Tara, YaYa, and Khaila are Swings - not understudies - but I thought I'd add that to this thread, especially since Tara and YaYa both made their debuts!

Usually when an alternate is added, it is a person already in the cast. This confused me when Lana Gordon was announced to be Amber's alternate. Maybe they are testing the waters with a new actress?

I'm seeing the upcoming Wednesday matinee show. It seems like there's a decent chance that Amber will be out, but from what I've read, sounds like we're in good hands with Lana?

I wonder if Wednesdays and Saturdays might be Lana's alternating days?

Probably not for a long time, Reeve has impeccable attendance."
Unless for an emergency or injury (let’s hope neither), John most likely will not go on for Orpheus until February 2022 when Reeve is scheduled to attend an event in Italy.

Afra is going on again this Saturday as Persephone (both performances).
I believe Lana performed yesterday as Persephone as well according to an Instagram story shared on her account.

With Afra out and Lana only doing select performances, I hope Jewelle will make her Persephone debut before Amber gets back.

I feel like Amber Gray is trying to break off into movie/TV roles (besides spending time with her family), which might be why we're seeing her less in Hadestown? She has a movie on Amazon Prime releasing soon and now she'll be working on an album soon with other Broadway performers.

I go Nov 4. Everyone please send good thoughts I get to see Reeve and Eva!!! The more people are out the more worried I am that I won’t see any of the OBC in the lead roles. O well!
