& last night was a missed opportunity to have a commercial break advertisement for the pro-shot in cinemas

Can anyone provide a link to tickets. I keep running into a dead end with amc Ehrlich just says : remind me. No sched, no Tix.

The audience for The Tonys either already knows that Hadestown will be in cinemas, or they are at an age in which they don't really attend movies in theaters much anymore; that is just a reality of the demographics. Besides, the distributor isn't likely to drop the money for an ad on a very limited release. There are only seven available time slots to see it at my local theater, and I imagine others have even fewer. The payoff would be minimal at best.

I don't think so, but it probably be on a streaming service (HBO Max or Apple) like Waitress or Come From Away eventually.

Yes, but it doesn't mean this will be. It depends on a number of factors, since most are not released on Blu-ray.

The trailer looks promising. I have a few concerns but seeing and hearing Hadestown again is exciting.

If it's to be in movie theaters, I'd really like to see "Hadestown" as an animated feature (not like anything Disney would do...). I think the story would lend itself well to animation - and I'd love to see some weather - especially rain included...
