Oh...no you didn't. You didn't buy a single thing.
You probably have boxes full of freebies to hand-out like party favors.
Keep your doors and windows locked, M.S.
Marc, just curious, did you get the deluxe set with the Hairspray lunchbox (Link Lime and Penny Pink)??
not only did I go buy them all (for good luck) I went dressed as Penny Pingleton

That was you? I said to myself "i never noticed- Penny has a spectacular ass!"
Telling lies, telling sweet lil lies...
Marc - do you want my receipts?
If I gave you all of them the total would be close to like, 1k.
yikes!
Don't lie Marc! You dressed up as Tracy:

OMG just LOOK at the size of that CAN!
Marc, do ticket stubs from the Broadway show count too? If I added all mine up, the total would be close to five grand. Yee-ikes!

TheActr97J, I went to the Newbury Street Best Buy. I was really bummed that I couldn't find te deluxe CD there...
Well, I think I am gonna talk to the guys at New Line to see if I can upload more stuff we didn't think of including on this CD (or had no more room for) to the movie website...
There are five score cues if I remember correctly... Tracy's Bedroom, Tracy & Wilbur Heart to Heart, Running from the March to Penny's house, Sneaking into the Eventorium and the endless Cooties dance-off.
Hmmm...and then there is the "religious" duet between Rev. Adam Shankman and Rev. Marc Shaiman for the record Prudy Pingleton puts on in the "Devil child!" scene
Am I leaving anything out?
I guess I could put the old original demos with Annie Golden, etc...
All of this would involve me getting off my fat ass, making calls, gathering materials, uploading all while eating the Thanksgiving turkey
maybe for Christmas??

Marc, that would be an awesome Christmas present!
Marc, can you throw in a recording of the dodgeball music from the show too?
Christmas sounds good!
The long intro in to "The Nicest Kids In Town."
Keeping my finger's crossed on all this, M.S.
I would have preferred that this new 2-disc CD set would have included exclusives on each disc instead of including as the 1st disc the CD we all enthusiastically purchased months ago.
This would have given all involved ample room to include an enormous amount of 'new' material which HAIRSPRAY fans would have devoured en masse.
Again...a missed opportunity. Due to this, I'm only getting selected tracks on iTunes instead of purchasing the 2-CD set with a CD I already own.
sorry bub, this is just the way they do these things in (what's left of) the record business now...I am just happy they have done this at all...glass half full, baby!
Brody -
I just checked, the second disc is "Album Only" on itunes.
- Marc, I took "It Ain't Over" and placed it over "Come So Far" in the credits - it worked well.
I plan on making numerous Hairspray Music Videos. :)
Are you kidding, is there really a Prudy Devil Child song?!!
Dottie-
Marc is referring to the song playing when Prudy starts up the "Lord's Prayer" album.

Oh, maybe also the "street music" intro to "Good Morning, Baltimore"? I know I could just make an audio rip, but if I can get it officially...
OH!
"Mama I'm A Big Girl Now" Stricken Chicken Instrumental.
Thanks, Mateo.
Or what about the version of "Mama, I'm A Big Girl Now" that was supposedly recorded with Nikki, Brittany, and Amanda?! Or the "NKIT reprise"...? There's probably tons! It would be cool if they recorded a version of "Big Dollhouse" as a demo!
