Does anyone know the subtitle list on the main feature. 'Hairspray' did pretty bad business at the Spanish box office and the DVD release is at least 6 months away. (the Spanish dont realyy like musicals). It opened in Spain at the end of September. I want to get 2 or 3 copiess for friends in Barcelona and Madrid for Christmas and was hopeing the release had Spanish subtitles???

Picked up the DVD today, and am currently watching the extra's. 'I Can Wait' is a great little tune, but i can understand why it was taken out.

I never knew that Rob Marshall was originally slated to direct the stage version.

yeah i got it for £16 today from HMV (the 2 disc edition)
I cant wait is a nice song but it was a sensible decision to cut it, it slows the action down.

The commentary with Adam and Nicki is good

I got it for £13.99 for 2 disk version from play.com that arrived last Friday for some reason. Brilliant dvd and great extras

I had mine pre ordered from Play for about a month and it cost me £9.99 for the double disc.

Instead of working this lunchtime we watched the Blu-Ray version today at work.

Bloody hell!! thats how you should watch a movie. The quality was amazing. Shame i'm too skint to buy a player

Mateo- which version is gonna give me the most bang for my buck in terms of extra stuff? The wal-mart version looks interesting, but is it worth it?

The 2-Disc Shake and Shimmy is definitely the way to go.

BUT! If any you have the extra dough, I recommend going to Walmart and picking up their bonus DVD.

The features are WONDERFUL! And the cool thing is, even though they are packaged together, they are individually wrapped. So you can buy it, keep the bonus disc and give the single disc DVD as a gift.

I am just now watching the Walmart Disc- The Feature on John transforming to Edna is fab!

hehe, its reversable.

The image of the two groups are printed on a clear plastic sleeve. In stores, they are displayed with both sides facing out.

It's officially the ugliest DVD cover ever offered. It's a plastic sleeve with the cast, which is fine but you have to take the sleeve off and it reveals a horrendous silhouette. Ah well. But hey, this movie tome is like crack. I got both the Shake & Shimmy double disc and the single disc edition with the WalMart extra disc and I'm keeping the bonus extra and using the movie as a gift. Add with the two extra DVD's that came with Circuit City and WalMarts soundtrack, I now have a 5 disc DVD set.

I got my today. Virgin in San Fran has it very less...$14.99 for the CD and $22.99 for the DVD. The CD is cheaper than itunes, I think itunes has it for like $21.00 including the tax. I am so happy with mine!
