Thats my dream cast with Kathy Brier being #1 She is by far the best Tracy ever!!!

As much as I adore Kerry Butler, I would have to put Diana DeGarmo as Penny. She just plays that role so perfectly!

Agh, I don't like this to become a Zac Efron bashing thread. He's actually pretty good. There are some improvements he could make, which will probably be made in the filming/rehearsal process of the Hairspray movie, I'm sure.

Am I missing the point in this?

The movie is already cast, and by the looks of these posts, none of you are casting agents, and probably would never be by your choices.

Just sit back and see what they do with the film.

And AshleyBrownFan, don't ever knock Keala, she has more talent in her pinky than most folks.
