Mrs. Settle, just so you are aware, your original post that was on the "Keala Settle as Tracy Turnblad" thread, is still there. However, I am guessing that one of the people in charge of the board thought it was such a great thing that you posted that he made you a seperate thread!!!
If you would like to e-mail at piippo_girls@hotmail.com I have something that I would love to show you. However, until I get the ok to do from you, I don't want to make my "project" public!! If you have a minute just drop me a hello, and I'll e-mail you the information!!!!
Love forever and today,

Dannah, in the Maori culture we have this thing called manakitia pronounced (mar-nar-key-tea-a)It is where people have the ability to make others feel welcome and important. You my dear have that special ability. Keep up the wonderful work, I certainly have a long way to go to catch up to you and your amazing younger generation.

Now ya'll have made me cry!! Thank you. I love the feeling that you have known someone forever. I also agree with your belief that we are destined to meet certain people--I believe that there was a higher power playing a hand in my meeting Keala--and now talking to you and your family. However, you must get over the "younger generation" idea.
You don't have any catching up to do!! Just do the best you can.
More and more love!!!!!!!!

Posted: 6/15/05 at 9:42pmKia Ora MS krispyt: As I read your message I could not help thinking about where Keala had come from and where she was today. You of all the people that I have spoken to today need to speak with Keala. She has climbed so many mountains and forged so many streams but never ever given up. We have a saying that we always say to our kids " When the going gets tough the tough get going" Age should never hold you back beauty is from within and each one of us have a story to tell and a song to sing. I will send your message to her. Kia Kaha (be strong) and be happy have a great evening Aroha mai, Kealas Mom

Posted: 6/16/05 at 5:05pmI'd love to see Keala in Philly, as I hear she can not be missed. It makes me happy to know such amazing stars don't let these leading roles go to their head.

Winokur_Fan....
so this really crazy thing just happened. I was about to post this response and tell you how great I thought it was that you had the site going and all and congratulate you, and then I thought "nah, I'll contact her on her site and that'll be cooler cause it'll be like, one of the first ones she ever gets..."
I must preface this by saying that the past 6 hours have turned real bad and I am having one of the worst days I can remember in my life...I'll email you about it in a sec...
...and then I went to 'contact' you on your site and saw the quote: When you cease to dream, you cease to live.
and now I"m just in tears and a wreck but...well, I'll write you in a sec but...I just wish you could/can understand how much I needed to read something like that, at that very moment and what an impact (obviously) it is having on me.
lol, you prolly think I"m insane cause you have no idea what i'm talking about, lol.
I'll write you.
and congrats on teh site, it looks great! :)

Posted: 6/16/05 at 10:06pmMany of the experiences of life cannot be explained, or understood. I just appreciate your taking the time to tell me about it. If there is one thing that I have gained from this entire experience it is that you cannot take life for granted--and that you shouldn't think "This can't be happening", b/c then you are too busy trying to figure out how it is happening--and then you miss it!! Just cease the moment. And DREAM! I will be awaiting your e-mail.

Kia Ora Dannah:
I just wanted to let you know that Kealas Cousin Mark had moved from London to Germany and Kalani's husbands family who live and work in London are fine. Kalani has been having problems with her phone. But she should be getting in touch with you soon.
Have you checked out Scots Hairspray site? It's cool, I take my hat off to your younger generation, so smart and not afraid to push forward.
Spoke to Keala last night looking forward to DC, a friend from DC called and said that there was a great hairspray insert in the Washington Post today. He has expressed mailed it to me. Have you seen it?
I hear there is a luncheon thing with the cast of Hairspray in DC on Friday afternoon is anyone going. Kealas Dad & I are going to try to get there since Keala said she was told yesterday she's supposed to be singing there.
Well you have a great day dear, still working with New Zealand on the graphics, lookin good.

Hey Mom Settle!! I do not think that I have seen Scott's Hairspray site...do you have the link? I also haven't seen the Washington Post article--perhaps I can find it online.
As for the luncheon, I am so jealous! That is something I would have loved to go to. Anywho who goes MUST tell me all about it! I'm betting it'll be a lot of fun.
I can't wait to see more and hear more about the NZ graphics. So excited!!
Talk to you soon! And thanks for the update on Kalani...I was really worried.
Xoxo!

Sorry I have nothing to say about seeing Keala in Hairspray because I only saw it in Toronto last summer, but this thread was so cute I almost cried. And I just had to say that. How awesome to be reminded yet again that some people can be a lead in a musical and still sweet, down-to-earth and genuine. Anyone know if the tour is coming anywhere in NY state? Because I'd definitely go then:)
And PS- it is so cool you are on here Mrs. Settle! Having someone's mom actually read and post on these is awesome. And more people read it than you think I believe- I heard someone say Stephanie Block's mom told them she read something on a message board about her whole Wicked lottery thing. Sneaky! Hehe
I love Les Miserables.
My new pic is me(on the left)at my last dance recital:(
