So tickets go on sale fror Hamilton in Philly next week and they are $129 to $199. Most people told me it's worth it but I saw an article from Baltimore that it wasn't selling there
The most I've spent on a touring show was around 70 bucks for Wicked. Most I've spent on broadway was $170 on The Cher Show

Those prices are pretty good. Considering I paid $200 with fees for the balcony in Orlando, you should jump on those tickets, especially if you can get a good orchestra seat. You more than likely will not get a ticket to Hamilton for $70.

I’ve seen the tour twice - once in Cleveland as a single ticket purchase (July 2018) and once in Pittsburgh (January 2019) as part of my subscription package - and paid around $170 in each case. Both were center mezzanine and in good locations.

I'm jealous. That person had to be pretty desperate to sell that low. I've got good, really low, prices outside of day of concerts, but didn't think you could get that low for Hamilton.

It was the norm in Buffalo, people were not paying resell prices and a lot of people had to get rid of a lot of tickets. Not sure how it is at other tour stops though. :)

I've been tracking prices in Baltimore and it's definitely selling very well there, most shows are sold out except 4th of July week. But, there's nothing below $301 face value left. $301 is exorbitant for Baltimore, but I guess since the Hippodrome is so much smaller than other major touring houses, it makes sense.

for the sf sitdown they have been offering on goldstar 97 side and back mezz tix and the cast here is fantastic
ive seen them three times and will go again in july

I have to eat my words on stating that it is doubtful one could get a tour ticket for $70. I bought a subscription for the first time for my series in my city this morning. We are getting Hamilton for the first time 2019/2020. I knew I wanted to see it again, after seeing it earlier this year. They had a second orchestra package for 5 shows for $260. Even though, Rent and Wicked (which I have seen multiple times) were part of the package, Bandstand and Anastasia are new to me. So I jumped on it. The price breakdown for Hamilton was $68.70, so under $70. They aren't the primo seats, but I'm satisfied.

I saw the tour today in Baltimore and purchased a ticket for $250 (row F Balcony). It was actually a very good seat, so I was very pleased. My only disappointment was that Josh Tower (Aaron Burr) was out, and I was not at all happy with Alexander Ferguson in the role. Vocally it was not a good fit. He covers Alexander Hamilton as well, and I could definitely see it as a better fit for him.
The board from Friday night was still up when I picked up my ticket. Understudies were on for Hamilton, Burr and Angelica. Only understudy this afternoon was for Aaron Burr.

I “won” the chance to purchase tickets but I’m not sure I want to spend that much on a touring show. I know Hamilton is Hamilton so I won’t be getting a cheap ticket unless I buy the subscription but I don’t think I can’t pay $199 to see it in Philly when I can pay that same amount to see in NYC again.

Posted: 7/7/19 at 9:26amBoth the Kennedy Center and Hippodrome hold 2300 to 2400,considerably bigger than most Broadway houses. local ticket prices have been going up. I don't mind paying more to see a first run cast from good seats in one of the midsize Broadway houses, but I'm not paying $300 - $400 for a touring company in a big theatre in Baltimore. I did pay $50 for SRO for Hamilton in DC which was worth it, especially as the guy sitting a foot in front of me likely paid 6x that. It's nice when you can see a great show pre-Broadway for less. We are military and saw Come From Away at Ford's for $20 each. When you can get a deal, grab it!

I was able to grab tickets for my friend and I for $211/each (including fees) for Orchestra Row D. I’ve loved this show since since I saw it with the OBC in November 2015 from an expensive nosebleed seat I bought through a hotel concierge. I’ve seen it since three times in Chicago. I say figure out your price range and go, go, go!!!

I think it's worth it. I spent $163 for first row in upper balcony in Baltimore.
I don't think it's that they weren't selling, it's just that it didn't sell out through the lottery presale system. I think they are selling out as the shows get closer.
I do agree, though, that $300 is pretty steep for here.

Thought I would bump this thread.
Tickets went on sale this morning for the Philadelphia engagement of Hamilton (Oct-Nov). I was shocked to see tickets going for $349. I'm not sure if they did away with premium seating, but it looks like most seats in the orchestra were at this price. It's at The Academy of Arts this time around. I saw it 2 years ago at The Forrest Theatre. I much prefer the latter. I'm not about to pay $349 for this. I think I paid $199 2 years ago and had a great seat.

Well I did wind up seeing it at the Forrest in 2019 via Lottery win during the first week.
Yes, The Academy is a gorgeous place (My mom had her HS graduation there ) and is one of my favorite venues but yes , it's a barn . I usually get the family circle section on the third level on the "restricted view " seats that aren't really restricted (unless it says "column ") . Usually they are only $30-$40. Haven't checked for Hamilton this round . I saw it last time and of course on D+(Except I have a hard time watching is now after LOJ and that Sia movie )

Just checked the price for my usual seats. $59 instead of the usual $30-$40 along with a disclaimer "Not including 10% and/or $18.00 fee. ". wtf.. There's always a fee though of course but $18 more?
EDIT: The whole orchestra is $349,lollll. It seems to be mostly empty for weekday matinees. Glad I won via lotto last time and will do it again...
