I'm not one to start conspiracies, but....
Does anyone else think that there's something off about Hamilton's performance on John Krasinski's Some Good News last week? Anyone who has tried to sing over Zoom knows that it is impossible to sync up. Also, the mix would NOT sound that good if it were live.

Your hunch is correct, though there’s nothing “off” about it, and it’s already been discussed here. Literally every multi-panel remote performance video you see has had the parts recorded individually and edited together.

Sweets, that wasn’t done “live.” It took days to shoot everyone and sound was patched in post. Even these “live” talk shows are taping their segments days in advance to edit out the glitches. Even Bravo’s WATCH WHAT HAPPENS LIVE isn’t being broadcast live. They’re taped 2-3 days in advance. Same with LIVE WITH KELLY & RYAN, THE TALK, etc. Shows that aired “live” before the pandemic are now all pre-recorded.

You also can't expect all the videos of symphonies playing together to have been done over zoom as well. Those have to have been recorded separately and then edited together by a pro.

I didn't think anyone thought it was actually live...?

And I'm not sure what "conspiracy" you thought you were unearthing. What matters is the joy they brought that young girl and to the hundreds (thousands?) of people that tuned in.

Most, including this OP, believed it was “live”, based on the endless amounts of people’s questions.

Mr. Wormwood, you'd be surprised at how many people I've seen on my social media feeds ask how it was done considering with most videoconferencing only one person can speak at a time. Completely bewildered, well-meaning people.

Last night , I was watching a virtual Javier Colon concert and he had several of his buddies on as special guests . He said he couldn't sing with them due to the way feeds work and it made me automatically think of this , espically since it's such a hard song
And speaking of Javier, he's a big Hamilton fan and has friends who are/were in the show in several productions. Would love to see him as Washington, Burr, or Jefferson someday ......

I was surprised by how many people I know thought the Hamilton was fully live. But to be fair, we've all learned a lot about videoconferencing in the last 1,031 months of quarantine. Or whatever it is.
But for the Hamilton performance, surely ensemble was fully-lipsyncing to a backing track, it's not worth the effort to splice all of them together. It was a cool surprise overall, though.

I also have a conspiracy theory, but surrounding the audio quality of the Macy’s Parade performances...
