Anyone sat in the box seats?

Thanks! I just got a $40 seat for the last week of June.
I'll be returning a $165/part single ticket for 7/11, if anyone wants it.

Ack! So I had purchased four tickets at the highest price $299 - Row D, seat 2,4,6,8 for the June 21/22.
Just checked the same dates and I could get Dress Circle Box C tickets for $199 each.
This is a huge deal for us - we are flying to NYC for the show, our kids have never been to the city, and this is a big celebratory event where we are willing to splurge for super good seats. Do you all think Row D would be the much better experience, especially since I have two youngish kids? (ages 10 and 12). Just weighing the up-close experience with the extra $$$.
Thanks so much!

A single $40/per part ticket for the Thu, Aug 30, 2018/Fri 31st performances will be releasing from my cart in about 1:30 - i thought i would be able to go that day but turns out i can't - yay work obligations
Figured i'd give a heads up in case anyone was looking

I would also like to know, got my tickets, but my gf is 5 foot tall and I’m worried she won’t be able to see. Balcony row d 22-24 thanks!

I've also read there is an incline in the rear orchestra (steps), is that the case?

Are you in row d of the orchestra? I would definitely stick with those you will want to be in the aisle in the orchestra. Also in the box you will get a side view and will have to lean a bit. If it’s row d of the dress circle that will definitely be good too.
edit: if you find something in the orchestra a little bit farther back and on the aisle that might be worth it. I’m guessing you guys are HP fans?? I would definitely stick with an aisle since there is something special that happens that I won’t spoil obviously but HP fans will enjoy it (at least I did)! Sorry to be super vague about this I just don’t want to spoil anything

The first step up is at row S, meaning row S is tiered above row R.

Thank you so much!! We are in Row D of the orchestra. I am a little concerned that we will be so close up, but my kids and I are pretty short and so I figured that being that close and on the center aisle might make the most sense.
It's so much $$$ - but we are ALL huge Harry Potter fans, and it's my kids first trip to NYC. They have read every single book and seen every movie so many times I can't even count. And I can remember waiting for the 12am show of the last Harry Potter movies with my husband before we even had kids - so we will probably be as excited as the kids to see it. :)

I sat in D8 and was uncomfortable. There is a railing in front of C that didn’t help. That said, a tall person in D or perhaps trying one or two seat cushions would help. I think leaning forward would help also.

Well, that’s bad news, but thank you for the advice. Looking at the chart, 22-24 look even further away from row c, and might be even more obstructed by that bar. Hoping someone sat there and can comment

There is an option on Ticketmaster for part one or two only. Give it a shot, if you are flexible with dates, you may find something.

Well, after reading through this entire thread about seating, I think I'm going to stick with my Orchestra D aisle tickets. I could get N aisle tickets right now, but I think my kids will feel more immersed in the action close up. And there's always booster seats. :)
Thanks for all the information here! It helped me so much, especially since I'm coming from so far out of town and really have just one shot to get this right.

I did a very quick glance and it is nearly impossible to buy tickets for only one part (and just as difficult to buy tickets to the two non-consecutive parts). It might be easier in person at the box office.
