CookAj, having sat in rows E and L, I agree with your decision. I preferred the closer view for being able to see facial expressions so clearly, especially for a few scenes that I found quite moving and with this fantastic principal cast. At the same time, I do understand why some people would prefer being farther back (not saying more here on purpose).

Hi Everyone,
Trying to buy tickets for May and K31-33 keep popping up. My mom is concerned about these being too far to the side (since they are the last two seats), but it also is a nice row since there's the break. I saw one comment that said the only thing missed from those seats are a couple house flags. Can anyone else comment on whether these would be better or something further back (row S or back) seats 25-27?
Thanks!

Definitely not. I refuse to understand how thousands of cinemas across the country can do this correctly, but Broadway can’t accept losing one or two seats per row to give human-sized people a couple of extra inches.
Otherwise, it was a beautiful theatre and an astonishingly perfect show.

Wow, if anyone can go this coming Wednesday, some Dress Circle Center Row A seats at $165 per part have been released on Ticketmaster. Have to assume that those are usually $299.

For this past Wednesday, they had dress circle row A seats 105 and 107 available for only $130! Unfortunately I didn’t jump on them fast enough. I also saw Orchestra rows K and N also for $130. This was about a week prior to the show.
So for those that want premium tickets at a non-premium price and are flexible with dates, be persistent with checking Ticketmaster in the weeks and days before you want to go. I’ve noticed this to be a trend the last few weeks.
if only I lived in NYC or close enough to commute in...

Just pulled up 5/2, Dress Circle Row A Seats 120-121 at $165/each. Best seats in the house, in my opinion. Very tempted to buy them, but they're released!

Does anyone have a review of box seating? Dress circle box C available. Like the extra room but is the view obstructed?

I sat in the balcony box seat and it was a pretty good view. You can see faces and everything. You just have to lean a bit, but if you don’t you only miss the very front corner, so it isn’t bad. I imagine the dress circle one is better than the balcony one.
Also, $130 per part tickets are available for Wednesday dress circle row a seat 2 and 4! Great seat it seems!!
edit: it seems to actually be 4 tickets available row a 2-8

So Dress Circle row is on the side is great? I'm considering grabbing tickets there- thanks for you opinions in advance

If your referring to the row a seats I mentioned I think it’s definitely worth it. I have not sat there, but your on the aisle so you’ll have a great view of it and you won’t be to the side that much. I think it’s a great seat considering the price for front dress circle is in the premium usually
Nice center balcony aisle seat E 117 is available on Ticketmaster for Wednesday, 7/18, $80 per part.

I'm thrilled (and shocked) there are so many tickets available to Harry Potter- but does anyone else find it odd? After those reviews last week, I thought I would be seeing it in May of 2019 (but seeing it tomorrow)

I don’t think there is anything to worry about. HP seems to just have kept back seats and releasing them closer to the show. They do the same thing in London. When they release the seats they have left seems to be very random though. Enjoy the show tomorrow, you’re going to love it. Trust me your going to be happy that you could find last minute tickets cuz you’ll want to go again!

As has been said, the production seems to have held back some seats for every performance (plus any unused house seats I'm sure). Also, because of the return policy, I wouldn't be surprised if many of the tickets are returned tickets.

Apples and oranges. Even the biggest blockbusters will have empty seats during its opening weekend, so the "lost" seats don't lose money. The number of screenings per day eliminates any lost revenue by reducing the number of seats to accommodate larger seats. For Broadway theatres where shows are expected to run significantly longer than a movie release and have a very limited number of performances pet week, those "missing" seats could cost thousands per night in lost revenue (maybe even tens of thousands, for a show like Hamilton or Harrry Potter).

Just got a last minute single ticket for this Sat. May 5.
Does anyone know why I paid only $40 per part for Orch row M seat 13 but there is another single seat, same day, that showed up Orch Row W seat 25 for $165 per part?
Seems strange that my seat is closer to the stage and it's so much cheaper.

Shout out to CT2NYC for helping us all get tickets for affordable prices to this show and others! I can also now vouch for his trustworthiness. Thank you!
Thanks to the advice in this thread, earlier this evening I was able to get two tickets for both parts this Sunday, row H of the orchestra for $40 each! To say I'm excited is an understatement!

Would be INCREDIBLY grateful if someone could PM me if they ever see $40 tickets!! Currently completely broke and a gigantic Potter fan.

Yeah, would someone be able to let me know as well? I check continuously throughout the day and I never see at those $40 prices. Even when someone posts that they see it I go on and they're not there. But it's so helpful whenever people post about seeing good prices!
