Can you tell where the $47 side orchestra seat was located? Are these seats available only at the box office?

It was orchestra K 21. I got it from the box office. I have a friend who's seen it 3 times with Bette and done the line, but never got a ticket like the one I did. I think it was because Donna was on and ticket sales were a little different that they even offered it.

Just thought I would let the board know that there's only 1 person in line, if anyone was considering trying for today.

Hello! This may be a long shot - but my wife and I will be in NY for the next two weeks on our honeymoon and are wanting to try and see Bette before she goes off for a while on June 27th. Our options for the SRO line are Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th. We will get into town at 8am-ish on Saturday. If there are any duos planning to stand in line for Saturday - that are only purchasing two tickets between the two of you - would you be willing to purchase four?? We will obviously buy our two off you and even pay for one of yours. We just likely won't get to the line until 9am. Not sure what the rushes are like these days - but 9am is unrealistic to show up and have a chance.

Sarabrowneyes: If someone helps you out and gets those two tickets for you, do you realize you're basically cutting in line and bumping a couple of other people behind who've actually waiting for hours for the same tickets? Is that really fair? Suggestion: You could get up early on Sunday and get those SRO tickets, too.

I honestly wasn't trying to cause issues. We booked our trip before it was announced that she was taking a break for the majority of our trip. We are travelling overnight hundreds of miles. I figured - if people are already allowed two tickets - it wasn't much different than when i use to spend much time in NY standing in line and buying in addition to mine - one for a friend who couldn't wait with me. I see where you are coming from and I appreciate your feedback. I honestly didn't think of it in that light. It was honestly a message of desperation. My apologies.

While I do understand his point, there's been a lot of comments of this nature on this board as of late. There is no difference if 2 sets of 2 wait for 4 tickets, or if one set of two waits for 4 tickets. Either way, it's still utilizing those same 4 tickets, which has nothing to do with the people behind that set.

Yep - I'm on SaraBrownEyes' side, everyone queuing is entitled to two tickets, no one is being saved a space in line that would (unfairly) bump everyone back. What difference would it make if ameleigh was buying the extra tickets for friends of hers?! No bending the rules here.
So my family just got four tickets for tonight's performance and I'm pretty excited. I was tweaking when we were in the lobby. I heard some rehearsal going on. If anyone is going tonight I'd love to meet you! This is my first time in New York in TEN years so I'm thrilled this will be my first Broadway Broadway show since mary poppins. They were 47 dollars by the way! I they will most likely be limited view, but I'm thrilled nonetheless.
Where are your seats? Congrats and enjoy!

I had one of those seats for Donna's performance last week and it was fantastic!! She's amazing!!
Question, is the $47 SRO cash only or can we use credit cards? Thanks!

Hello! I'm in town this weekend and was planning to try for rush. Can someone give me a report about the line and if they also offer the balcony seats in addition to SRO for rush?

You can use a card or cash
I'm curious if they're offering more rush tickets for Donna's shows?

Hello,
I am trying for SRO for Hello Dolly this Saturday the 24th, I was wondering what the best time to be there would be? I am going alone since my friend bailed on me. What would be the best time to get there? I know some people are against this but I am willing to grab someone a ticket since I am allowed two. Message me if interested.

If I were you (and wasn't particularly bothered about matinee or evening and SR or balcony), 6-6:30am.

I got SRO today. I got there at about 6:25 and was 8th or 9th in line. I could only go to the evening show and I did the math and even if everyone in front of me got 2 tix for evening, I knew I would get tickets since there are also limited view seats. I think the box office said there are 18 SRO spots but he was saying so to the person at the window beside me so I may have misheard. The first person in line got there around 4am. They let us in right at 10am and the whole process was very quick and easy. The wait was really not bad - everyone sat on the stoops of the theatre's side doors along 44th street and we were protected from the rain by the marquee. It was really a pretty comfortable wait especially considering a lot of rush lines this morning involved standing in the rain for 3 hours. The line stayed pretty short (3-5 people behind me) until 8:30 when more people started trickling in. The line was fairly long but not huge by 10. I got 2 SRO tix for the evening and I know at least the three parties behind me got tix for today as well.
Also, I was starving by 8:30 and had Postmates deliver me breakfast. I have the address of the broadhurst and included a note that I was waiting in a line on 44th st under the red Hello Dolly marquee and the delivery guy had no issue at all finding the right place. It hadnt ever occurred to me to order food while waiting in a line like that but it was great and super easy with Postmates since I was really hungry and thirsty.

I'm in line now (Saturday morning), I arrived at 5:50am and was #5 in line with one person wanting 2 tickets so I'm #6. It's 8:33am and there are only 12 in line total.
Update: 9:25 about 30 people in line now.
Update: at exactly 10am the box office opened. We were able to buy SRO for the matinée or the evening show as they are both already sold out. I got one ticket for the matinée SRO spot 19 for $47, it was also confirmed that Bette would be on today.
