With Here Lies Love not doing well
should we turn it into a nightclub after performances each night
This would be a HUGE CASH INFLUX
There is a strip club across the street so a lot of the CLIENTILE might be the same
who do I talk to
This is GOLD!!!

Who's "we"??
The union costs of keeping the theatre open outside of showtime would likely be prohibitive.
We've talked about this in other threads, but the show seems to be trying to straddle the line of "this is a fun club-like experience" and "this is a great piece of important theatre." There are two very very different audiences for those things, and people who will be turned off by the standing section (which has, by many accounts, not been full).
They also have to carefully advertise the party element because they don't want people showing up drunk/high/messy. They have to be alert and move around the venue all night and there are a hundred safety hazards for the audience and actors if something goes wrong.
All that, plus the weirdness of a white creative team for this show, and the Marcos controversy, all of which they seem to be trying to minimize to some extent.
I adore this show but I don't envy the producers trying to sell it in the current Broadway landscape.

After the show ends - and the audience leaves - it converts to a nightclub?

Located in an abandoned orphanage on the Lower Lower East Side of Chelsea, this round-the-clock Popper party is the creation of narcoleptic club owner Snoozin' Lucci, and this place has everything......... ice sculptures, winos, Germfs (German smurfs), Imelda Marcos wearing Kid 'N Play hair, and none other than DJ Baby Bok Choy.

Why is everyone confused
the set is a NIGHTCLUB
IT IS DESIGNED TO HAVE THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN IT
THERE IS ALREADY A CLUB ACROSS THE STREET “sapphire”
this could be an extension of the club scene

we are not the ones who are confused, speaking of "not doing well"

It's fun until some breaks the set, or falls off the mezzanine
A theater is not a club.

the set is designed for people to be on it
no different than HOUSE OF YES or SAPPHIRE
there are balconies in clubs so what’s the difference

What I will say is the show should consider more evenings similar to what they did with Fatboy Slim, they were sold out that night and they did like a 30-40 minute postshow set w/ him dj'ing and the show still ended by 11pm avoiding union overtime
like every tuesday a different high-profile dj does this. or have H.E.R guest DJ ect ect

Clubs sell $2000 bottles of champagne and you’re telling me OVERTIME is the reason why we can’t?

I hope when you're old enough to actually get into a club, you will understand that a club and a Broadway theater are not the same things nor are they "extensions of one another". Broadway actors are not going to work until 4am where their show suddenly turns into a mosh pit full of booze and drugs.

I NEVER SAID THE ACTORS WOULD WORK
IT WOULD BE A CLUB NOT A PERFORMANCE

This will not work. Ever. You clearly have no idea how a Broadway house operates. This thread is ridiculous

Explain to me what I don’t know
why wouldn’t it work
?????
if they are selling $2000 bottles wouldn’t that cover the overtime
The cast expenses don’t go up
the rent doesn’t go up
they just have to hire dancers and strippers and waitresses
done
broadways hot new club is here lies the club

You may want to research how permits and zoning works but something tells me you won’t and will Probably just respond in all caps.
