re: I Miss 'The Wedding Singer'

I'm so excited for the tour because I never got to see the Broadway production!

As far as I'm concerned, there have been no announcements in regard to casting. It's non-eq, though, from what I hear.

I do not miss the Ten Million Tina Madigan posts.
Where is the girl with the bleach blonde hair these days?

re: I Miss 'The Wedding Singer'

"The Girl With The Golden Hair" you mean, where is Phantom2 and his secret service that would inform him when Laura was out?

Yo doofus, learn to tell when people aren't talking to you.

The comment was obviously to CurtainPullDowner.

Ok, sorry, I will edit it. Since you tend to be offensive, I thought it was toward me.

Count me in as someone else who misses this show. It was just so much fun!

re: I Miss 'The Wedding Singer'

I agree her voice, acting and looks are amazing.
Her attendance record, uh no.
This is such an old discussion
Even older than me.
Who is playing the female lead in the tour?
Madigan?

re: I Miss 'The Wedding Singer'

I doubt it Curtain because the show is going Non-Equity, so it's going to suck, most likely. It won't have the great sets, or any of the talent, probably. It's opening here in Alabama in Sept. I'll see if I enjoy this time around. I didn't like the CD as much as I thought I would.

And I like Laura's voice, but she was ALL wrong for this show. A classical sounding voice does not belong in an 80s musical.

re: I Miss 'The Wedding Singer'

I agree, Tina seemed a much cuter and better fit into the show than Julia, who is still very talented but just did not seem ideal for the role.

re: I Miss 'The Wedding Singer'

I definitely miss this show, and pretty much the entire cast. No, it wasn't the best SHOW, but it sure was one hell of a good time at every performance.

re: I Miss 'The Wedding Singer'

Can I just say that I hate when people say the talent on Non-Equity tours isn't as good? I'll give the sets thing to you, but just because someone has yet to earn their equity card doesn't mean they suck. They could be really young. Or had bad luck. I highly doubt they would cast people who couldn't act or carry a tune. I have seen plenty on Non-Equity tours that had casts much better than the their Equity equivlents on Broadway (Rent comes to mind at the moment). So the sets won't be as good. The cast will be incredible and I'm still excited.
