I pity those of you who will be trying to get Follies tickets on Saturday..

Website is working fine now. Seat maps load instantly unlike this morning. If one is flexible when they can go there are plenty of great seats available during the week. Weekends are less available but they aren't sold out...yet. It is worth the $60.00 to get the seats now.

OK, I went after work and there was literally no one in line!! I was in and out of there in 5 minutes.

To those who suggested the $60 membership; thank you!! I never would have thought of it.

Sometimes you can't put a price tag on your free time. I'm not one to wait in a long line. The last time I did was the day Phantom tickets went on sail in NYC. I waited 4 hours and got absolutely no where. Gave up after that.

Kevn, click on the Follies icon. You also have to be logged in. I was having problems earlier after I purchased my membership. It kept asking me to log in, and although I did, I was in a never-ending loop.

Wow. I got so nervous reading this thread, I headed straight to the KC website, got my membership and got my ticket. Phew! Also managed to snag row D for a matinee - yay!! Cannot wait till May....

Joining the Kennedy Center Membership is the way to go.

I just looked at it as an extra $30 for each ticket. I am coming down from Boston and have very limited availability, so I didn't want to take any chances.

My tickets are row D as well.

Any chance they will extend the show?
Possible transfer to Broadway?

Thoughts??

I hope they extend..the theatre isn't booked until N2N comes in just over a week ago IIRC, according to their events calendar, but the dates they have licensed on MTI are only until the 19th.

Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for the heads up. I had no idea becoming a member would be so easy, and for an out of towner planning a trip it's certainly worth the money. I was able to get three center orchestra seats for a Friday in June, but they do seem to be going very quickly on weekends. Thanks to all who shared the tip.
