I wouldn't say it was BAD...just a little over dramatic. It sounded good.

Someone tell me they TiVo-ed it? My mother had it on, and I remember someone reading on Page Six that Idina would sing...and then I hear Idina over my music...yeeeah! It would be nice to see it again.

I wonder how long it'll take before people spell her name right. I mean, to write "Indina" isn't even an error that matches pronounciation.

I honestly thought it said "Indiana" and was confused at why the US Open was now being played in the Midwest.

Nope - it was aired live on CBS.
But I think it will be posted on some of her fan sites by tomorrow.

Idina was not as good on some parts as others, but overall she was the best of them all. She rocked that song, ESPECIALLY at the end. She gave me chills. She is awesome, she has such a strong, amazing, unique voice.

That inspired me to get out my recording of Idina in Wicked, which I never do, because I like stephanie better. I think I am seeing the light again.

All I can say is WOW. I don't think I've seen a performance at a sporting event like that since Whitney Huston sang the national anthem at the Superbowl (I think Superbowl). That was simply brilliant. And I'm not just saying that. What a phenomenal, pitch-perfect performance, especially from Idina. That was beyond incredible. I must admit, she not only gave me goosebumps, but I had a tear running down my cheek by the end. (Laugh all you want, but that was extremley moving and amazing). Just, wow.

She did seem very emotionally invested, and she sounded AMAZING. She's been having this crazy amazing vibrato going on lately and I'm LOVING it.
And I'm LOVING the mational exposure for her.
