I wonder who's the stand-by for Menzel or if she'll have one (maybe understudy instead?); Jackie wasn't listed anywhere, but is a stand-by usually listed? I thought they have the option somewhere to not be listed in the playbill for that, or maybe I'm mis-remembering.

Oh that's awesome, I saw both DeeDee and Cliffton in Wicked while it was in SF for those couple of years. I don't know the other Ensemble cast, but I'm really excited about this cast and so happy I got my tickets. I was going to wait to try and get my family to go, but I knew it would be like hearding cats so I dropped that idea. I missed Cinderella both times it was hear waiting for them to get their crap together and I definitely was not going to miss this one. (I would be more upset about Cinderella if I hadn't seen it on Broadway, but I still really wanted to see Paige/Audrey and and Andy) /no1curr

I bet Jackie burns will just replace idina. It seems like a no brainer. And no offense I would take her over idina any day. I love idina, but like Jackie is Jackie.

Saw Daren A. Herbert in a local production of Parade a few years back. His "That's What He Said" was phenomenal. He was also great in Once On This Island (both in Toronto).

I'm sure the producers are paying them all a pretty penny to get them to tour, so why would you not shell out some money to Jackie Burns who basically played the part on Broadway for awhile? I'm sure she'll start the tour as an u/s-standby. Everyone has an understudy. And, then, I'm sure she'll take over.

I could just be reading into it, but her wording seems to hint at her being involved in the tour. Not that it would be a surprise.

While her wording isn't giving me the same impression, I assume that she wouldn't have been involved in the making of this video if she no longer had ties to the show. Here's hoping she'll be announced as Idina's replacement soon. I adore this show and would love to have a chance to see her take on the part.
