I agree with Bat Boy, because I love the score... but I kind of like the fact that it never went to Broadway...

This is a toss-up between Ragtime and the original production of Follies.

Maybe it's just me (considering how quickly it closed, it probably is just me), but I really liked "Mister".
I thought it was damn good. Yassmin Alers was perfection, in my opinion, and Anthony Rapp was really great.

6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys

For my own selfish purposes, Assassins, Into the Woods, Miss Saigon and Sunday in the Park with George. I never got to see them on Broadway, and I wanted to...so much. Especially the first two. And Les Mis is already coming back...no idea why, but I can't seem to get enough of that one.

Don't hate me, but 'Cats' and 'Les Mis,' both of which enjoyed remarkably lengthy runs on Broadway and continue to tour. I just don't understand why producers would decide to close a show just because it's been running for going on twenty years. If the audiences keep coming, they're clearly something to be said about the show itself. I'm thrilled that 'Les Mis' is making a comeback in the fall, and hope that they start up a new tour after its limited engagement in New York. It's devastating that the third national tour, which has been cycling the country since late 1988, is closing for the first time in 18 years.

If I had to pick one and only one it would be Assassins. There will be so many revivals this fall (insert happy dance here!) that it was a little easier to pick one.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."
