Per Telecharge, Marin Ireland and Steven Pasquale will join Piper Perabo and Thomas Sadowski in the Broadway production of Neil LaBute's "reasons to be pretty." They will replace Alison Pill and Pablo Schreiber, respectively.
Shame, Pill could have won a Tony for this one. Luckily, Ireland is a more than worthy replacement.
Telecharge also lists the website (not online yet):

They are both brilliant actors.
Does anyone know why Pill isn't transferring?

I've heard that by the end of the MCC run, her voice was shot from screaming so much.
With the recent success of MILK, I wouldn't be surprised if Allison Pill got a movie.
disappointment.
Allison Pill was fabulous..she will be missed. Still, so excited about seeing this production on Broadway! I love Neil LaBute's work!!
I'm sad that Alison Pill isn't staying with the show; she was wonderful in it. Oh well, I still hope it does well.

Bummer, but I'm excited to see Pasquale. Isn't the other guy in "Becky Shaw?" Too bad he couldn't switch, as that show just didn't do it for me.

It's weird that this article doesn't mention Piper Perabo.
No, Pablo Schreiber is in Desire Under the Elms, not Becky Shaw.
Its actually a good move on his part, considering the fact that the Desire will probably run longer during its rumored Broadway transfer, and considering the fact that he gets to work with Brian Dennehy, Carla Gugino, and Robert Falls.

Does anyone know when Desire Under the Elms is supposed to open in NYC? Will it be at the tail end of this season or sometime in 09-10? Or are they waiting to see how it fares in Chicago before any final decision is made?
Sadoski is in Becky Shaw.
Desire Under the Elms is running through late-Feb in Chicago. I'd imagine that if it gets good reviews, they would want to transfer soon rather than later. That show could work in the Longacre, which does not have a spring tenant.
Marin and Alison seem to be viewed in very much the same way as actresses. Marin originated the role of Jackie in MAURITIUS in its world premiere and Alison originated Jackie on Broadway.
According to the IMDB, Alison is already set to film three movies this year. It's smart for her to move on. Maybe she would have won or been nominated for a Tony for "Reasons" but she's already got a Tony nomination for another show and as we all know, the bigger a movie/TV star you are, the more Broadway offers you will get. She'll be back on Broadway soon if she wants to be.
Plus, it took them so long to confirm the Broadway transfer I'm surprised they got Sodowski and Perabo to stick around and not take other offers (I mean, the Off-Broadway production was like, a year ago!).

Hardly a year ago.
Damn! I missed the off-broadway run at the Village. I actually like Pablo Schreiber. Allison Pill- I'm so-so with her, great actress but she's kinda "weird" in person!
oh btw- Ireland is good. I saw her as Jackie in Huntington's world premiere of MAURITIUS and I saw Pill on Broadway.

I actually like Piper Perabo! Too bad~she did not make it big as a movie star! I saw her godawful movie, COYOTE UGLY with Adam Garcia (hello! Saturday Night Fever!) but I enjoyed her lesbian flick better~ HAPPY TOGETHER,
and I thought I wouldn't like a lesbian flick, huh?
