What's an Alice Ripley?
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

I think it's like a Donkey Punch or a Strawberry Shortcake.

I just heard a rumor in Shurbert Alley that Alice is leaving N2N on Christmas Day to play Moritz in the SPRING AWAKENING tour. Spread it around.

Alice is too crazy to play Margaret White.
And Carrie is booked at the Mark Hellinger, not the Neil Simon.
FIRST WIVES is going to the Neil Simon. It's the perfect show to keep the theatre warm before ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER'S PHANTOM 2: ELECTRIC KARIMLOO: THE STORY CONTINUES: LOVE NEVER DIES where it will then disappear, like the Phantom, forever. Or until the sequel.

Oh, and BTW are you still worried RAGTIME will have to switch theatres to meet demand next October when LOVE NEVER DIES moves into the Neil Somon, Drunk Chita?

I don't like to talk about stuff here unless I KNOW from an iron clad source. Keeping that in mind, the dude the guy who runs the take out counter at Junior's told me that Alice is leaving, but not until Feb. when she takes over for Liat in South Pacific. Ragtime is closing Jan. 3 and moving to New World Stages once Altar Boyz clears out. He then told me that he wasn't allowed to talk about what is apparently going into the Neil Simon before Electric Boogaloo or whatever comes along, but it was another John Doyle revival starring Rosie O'Donell and whoever gets voted off SYTYCD next week.

Jordan- I forgot to mention that the transfer is a scaled UP production. They are using a real Model T.
Trust me on this folks. That guy looks at the Booth stage door all damn day. HE KNOWS!!

Of course. Because if you're going to transfer it, you do it right. (And bigger and better)

I thought Alice Ripley was leaving N2N to play Adelaide in the upcoming Guys & Dolls revival at the Gershwin. And isn't Aaron Tveit leaving to play Bobby in the upcoming revival of Company at the Minskoff??
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Okay, sorry, maybe you have more "True Blood"/"Sookie Stackhouse" insight than I, but how could that remotely be typecasting??? hahaha

I thought Alice was going to revive SideShow and play both sisters..
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

I don't know where you heard that, but Aaron is leaving to play Stanley when the Blanchett Streetcar transfers to Broadway for a limited 10-week engagement at the Neil Simon after Ragtime closes and before Fences opens. And, due to demand, he will perform the entire show in his boxers.

I actually heard Allison Case was going to replace Jennifer Damiano when she leaves to do CARRIE. Gavin Creel will also be replacing Matthew Morisson on Glee.
