This is going to be wildly unpopular, but I would love for the Tony to fall out of the bag altogether, and into Cristin Milioti's hands.
As far as Actor goes, Jordan was nominated for the wrong role. I would rather have seen him nominated for (and thought he was far better as) Clyde. His time will come, and it will be for a better performance in a different role.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

I was in NYC last week. I saw Porgy and Bess on Wednesday night and unfortunately, Audra was out sick. (Apparently she missed the Tuesday night performance and the Wednesday matinee too.) Well, I loved the show and thought Norm Lewis was outstanding. The Bess understudy had a fine voice, but the role was forgettable. Nothing about her performance stood out to me. So I went back on Friday night and saw the show again with Audra. I was absolutely blown away. It was like seeing a whole new character. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. It was probably the best acting/musical live performance I've seen.
I also saw Maxwell in Follies and liked her performance too. (I loved her in Lend me a Tenor!) But there is no question in my mind who should win the Tony. It has to be Audra.
Here is my question - Did Audra really deserve to win each of her other 4 Tonys? This was before I was following the Tonys or broadway that closely, so I don't know if she was the front runner each year of if there was another strong performance that could have won. I have read that she was amazing in Carousel, but what about her other wins?
I would hate for her to lose this year because the voters don't want to reward her with a 5th Tony.

I can't comment on Carousel or Master Class because I never saw them, however, she was divine in Ragtime. The things she did with that role were unbelieavable. I didn't truly appreciate her brilliance in the role until I saw Stephanie Umoh do absolutely nothing with the role in the revival.
She was also stunning in A Raisin in the Sun- a performance that was fortunately preserved in the TV movie. She and Rashad were dynamic.
And as much as I love Jan Maxwell (and think it's CRIMINAL she hasn't won a Tony yet), if I were a voter, I'd be going with McDonald this year.
While I did not have the pleasure of seeing Follies, having seen both Porgy and Bess and Once I just cant imagine it not being given to Audra. While my personal choice would be Cristin Milioti (I loved her performance and think that Audra can wait to get her fifth) there is no denying how amazing Audra was in the role of Bess. Having since gotten the recording and revisiting a show I've been talking about since March I do think she is deserving.
That said, if Danny Burstein doesn't win for Follies I would like to see Norm Lewis win. I thought the standout in Once was Milioti though Kazee gave a fine performance I dont think it was on par with Norm Lewis. And as a fan of Danny Burstein's collective body of work (and some youtube surfing) I wouldnt mind seeing him win.
Also, to those who said Phillip Boykin should win, I thought he was phenominal but I'd actually prefer seeing David Alan Grier win it.

I saw Nice Work tonight and Judy Kaye was out. I was really disappointed to not see her. While her understudy wasn't bad by any means, I couldn't tell what Judy does to elevate the role to Tony frontrunner status.
with Judy Kaye its basically because she was the last to open to rave notices...that nominated if Elaine Paige, Kara Lindsay (was placed in the right category), Natasha Yevette Williams, were nominated one of them would of likly been the front runner...or at least there would have been an actual race
