Yeah... according to Wikipedia, Rosie was also going to play Matron "Mama" Morton in the film-version of CHICAGO.

Rosie was also going to be playing Rosie in MAMMA MIA!.

Rosie is one busy gal who never comes thru.

I could get on wikipedia and say that I was playing the role but sometimes wikipedia is true they just have different people updateing pages all the time with inaccurate info it
gets irritating sometimes if you look at the cast replacement page it doesn't list her.
but if you look at hers it does say that she going to be in wicked why would such an amazing person join the national tour wouldn't she want to play the role on broadway.

I could MAYBE see her agreeing to do a run on Broadway . . . but with her children and other responsibilities in entertainment, I can't see her hitting the road.

Alma Cuervo's last performance is, I believe, July 13th. and it is not Rosie who is taking over on the 16th. I do believe it is an African American taking over the role for the first time.

I think that the Jackee Harry rumor was false...I believe the replacement is Myra Lucretia Taylor.

The Wicked cast lists section of Wikipedia is no more!!! I tried to get onto it this morning to see how long Alli Mauzey was with the show and the link didn't appear!

Could this be the end of pointless threads as we know it?

The only thing I know for sure, was that Rosie was considered the role of Mama Morton in the film of "Chicago", along with Madonna and Bette Midler.
