I have some family coming in the weekend of the 22 and they would love to see Sunday in the Park with George. I checked The Hudson website and saw that any affordable tickets were gone. When I checked Stubhub, I saw that there were some tickets available for purchase in the balcony. I have actually never bought any tickets from Stubhub before. Are they a trustworthy site?

Most definitely yes! Used it only a couple of times, but to my complete satisfaction.

If you have a choice, choose paper tickets that you can download immediately instead of regular cardboard tickets that will be shipped to you UPS.
It cuts down on the chance of anything going wrong.

I bought Hamilton (NY) tickets on stubhub at a vastly inflated price. They arrived but were for Hamilton Chicago. I was told that they would find me some Hamilton New York tickets and they would call me. They didn't, and when I called back they told me that there weren't any suitable Hamilton New York tickets and they would give me a refund. I was told that the refund was being processed "immediately" and would show up within my account within 7 days. It didn't, so I called back and was told that it had only just been approved by their credit committee that day (the 8th day) and would be reflected in my account within another 7 days. The money finally did turn up, but I'd be hesitant to spend a lot with them. The customer service was appalling. I should add that I had never had a problem with them previously, and would echo the poster above's suggestion to use the online tickets rather than paper tickets, to avoid this sort of issue.

I had a completely different experience - I bought tickets to see U2 in Chicago, and the seats I bought had been double sold. StubHub reached out to me right away and found me other tickets that were actually BETTER than the tickets I bought. Communicated with me all along the way and totally came through on their ticket guarantee.
Sorry you had a bad experience, though.

So I have a question.. for us visitors in the city that don't have access to a printer..when we buy a instant download ticket from StubHub.. Can we use our smart phone at the theater to be scanned in? Or do they require a printed ticket?

You need to check with the theater. I know that Hamilton won't scan from a phone image.

So I guess I would have to find a place in the theater district that I could log on to my emails and print my tickets since I plan on buying them close to showtime. Any suggestions?

Staples at 47/8 does prints last I checked.
Also, the StubHub pickup center is on like 40/7, not sure if they will let you print something there, or if they are only for picking up hard tickets.

Yes. If something goes wrong they will refund AND try to resolve/upgrade your tix if possible.

Marriott Marquis on the 8th floor business center. It closes at 7pm though. A lot of people who buy last minute Hamilton tickets go there to print them out.
ive never had any issues with stubhub. Normally what I do is try to buy download etickets in advance so I can print the tickets at home or at work.
if time is an issue (like less than 15 mins left) I prefer the pickup option at their stubbub pickup center at 40th street and 7th avenue.

Yes. Bought tix for matinee of Beautful during pre-Broadway run. Never looked at tickets, arrived at theatre and noticed they were for evening. Manager gave us house seats at price of regular. Callled StubHub at intermission. They refunded ticket price and gave me credit for amount of tickets I purchased. Used credit for mlb playoffs. An hour after purchasing, received call saying tix not avaialable so they found better seats at same price. Couldn't have been more satisfied with way both matters were handled. I now look at my tickets after purchasing them.

Around 53rd street and 7th there is a Sheraton. When you walk in the front door there are printers and computers on the left side. You do not need a room number or a credit card to print.

I haven't had any problems with StubHub before. I've bought and sold from them before. They are very reliable for me and always use them before Vivid Seats or Flash Seats.
