I feel like every day I check the Understudies page for whatever show I’m going to see, I’m almost ALWAYS seeing either Josh Strobl or Eli Talley on for Ponyboy (like 6-7 shows per week), and yet Trevor remains top billed.
I haven’t seen the show since the OBC, but I’ve had friends ask me what the deal was with that and Reddit, such as it is, seemed like a black hole of conspiracy theories. Anyone here have anything that could address my curiosity?

Trevor Wayne is like sasquash or Gerard way. There's a sighting once a week, the people who care go nuts over it, and no one cares the other 6 days of the week.
Brody Grant’s legacy carries on.
They hire musicians for Ponyboy so they are focused on their own stuff, but if they're in the right head space, they'll show up. Brody showed up for 3 days in September. It's a pretty good gig if you ask me.

I guess I got really unlucky getting one of the 3 performances he was actually in.
