I have a ticket for tonight and have no interest in going-first to PM me can have it FREE (just say my name at the box office) hopefully it doesn't go to waste--

I do want to see it again if possible but I was going to try standing room for Book of Mormon this evening.

For the record, the other major critics thought the play was superlative. Brantley screws up again, IMHO.

Why no opening night posts for this play? No interest guys. I'm damned if I'll post them all. It is major theater and has been extended deep into June.

I was at the opening performance last night and really enjoyed the show. I had not read a synopsis of the play beforehand and so was completely surprised by Act Two taking place some 40 years later. I thought it was a pretty interesting concept, telling the story of '30s-era Black actors who'd always play maids, slaves, servants, etc. and how that could be both a help & hindrance to their future careers. I loved the final image!

My friend saw it a bit after before opening and he loved it. Best show he'd seen in a while. Hopefully I can make it down with this new extension.
