I would have been a great Ruth IN MY SISTER EILLEN or WONDERFUL TOWN. Unfortunately, that was 50 years ago!
Miriam
With the right makeup, I think I would be a great Miss Hannigan in Annie.
Eliza Doolittle-My Fair Lady
Gussie Granger-Hello, Dolly!
Miss Mazzeppa-Gypsy
Hi,
i think I could be in a musical in the role of:
Link in HAIRSPRAY, Guido in NINE, Billy Flynn in CHICAGO, feature dancer in FOSSE, Raoul in POTO, Marius in Les Mis and even Jimmy in TMM!
I think I could suit even MORE better as a wardrobe master of CHICAGO, Les Mis, HAIRSPRAY, TMM and Fosse!
My CHICAGO the musical group!
Professor Higgins
Max Bialystock
Sweeney Todd

I forgot that I think Im perfect for Jake (side Show), and Tom Collins (Rent), since neither part has to be black through the book of the shows.
STEVOS
Eponine in Les Miserables. It's the role I was born to play. Besides, I've already been "playing" it since I was 10...how many girls who've played her have 8 1/2 years experience with the role?
I think Elphaba in Wicked, but I'm gonna have to work on that vocally, haha. I've also heard I have the Eponine look.

TheaterBaby, I hate to disappoint you, but there is no character named "Gussie Granger" in HELLO, DOLLY! Have you ever bothered to see the show?

Emcee ~ CABARET

Jo Jo in Seussical was written for me.
Yes I have seen one production of it, but I like the movie so much more, so I prefer to stick with those characters.
Also, the original question was "Is there some part in a musical that you think you would be perfect for?" It did not specify Broadway Musical, so I include Movie Musicals.
Boy am I glad this thread got revived, because this list is always changing for me.

Any part which has me playing the gay love interest opposite Ramin Karimloo.
Jessica Crenshaw from "Curtains," a triple-threat - can't act, can't dance, can't sing. And gets killed-off at the start of the first act. She DOES have a big voice and I think I could manage the drag.
Besides that, my best position in the theater is as an audience member.
Younger Brother in RAGTIME.
Leo Bloom in THE PRODUCERS.
Cornelius Hackl in HELLO, DOLLY!.
Freddy Eynsford-Hill in MY FAIR LADY.
Oh why not...and yes, these are roles I am perfect for - I know what I can and can’t do at this point, I’ve been in the business for like twelve years now, and get type cast pretty regularly:
Sweeney Todd (I could sing it well enough and act the hell out of it)
Javert
Henry Higgins
Henrik Egermann
What about roles you’d love to play but know you’re not right for?
The Phantom (too high)
Jekyll and Hyde (too high, and I’m not a romantic leading man type)
The Emcee (I’d actually be brilliant, but the choreography would have to be VERY simple)
The first two that came to my mind are Kate Monster in Avenue Q and Portia in Something Rotten! I have a long list of dream roles, but those two probably fit my type the most.
