re: CHICAGO Cast Changes

Nov 16, 2004 — 4:31:29 PM

CJR, I'll be in NY on 11/27 and I'm hoping to see Chicago again. Any thoughts on the rush for that day? Is it a good idea or would getting tickets in advance be the best way to go? Thanks so much!

If you go to ibdb.com, you can find the information.

I saw him in "Gypsy" when he went on for John Dossett. I thought he was fantastic.

re: Seussical?

OhSoWicked, I saw Seussical and I loved it. It's big, bright, and fun. The score has a number of great songs. It takes alot of imagination to put the show on. I loved it..seems like I'm one of the few.

Wicked4lyffe, yes I do remember someone saying that. My boyfriend laughed harder at that than the "I Am My Own Wife" skit. That's the only skit we didn't get since we haven't seen the show but it was still very funny.

Wicked, I was in row E with my boyfriend (seats 9 and 10). I know the people you're thinking of. We were laughing but not that loud lol.

I was at the 8/11 performance also. I thought it was hysterical but it was the first time I had been to the show. Every one has their own view of what's funny so to each his own, right?

A lot of people on this board (check the threads) have said that they have met the stars as they are going in to a performance. The only reason I am wondering is because I will not be able to stand at the stage door after the performance. It was an innocent question. I understand the stars are busy and have a performance to do but if a star like Bernadette Peters can do it, so can the stars of Millie. It's not as if this is the first time a question like this was raised.

I'm seeing the 3 pm matinee on Sunday. The group I'm going with will be leaving right after the show so there will not be time to stand at the stage door afterwards. Since it's a 3 pm show, would Dixie Carter be arriving around 1:45? Thanks!

I'm going to NY on Sunday and am wondering if anyone knows when the Millie leads arrive at the theatre for the 3PM performance.

I saw her last weekend in Wilkes Barre. It was incredible. That was the first time I had the chance to see her in concert and it was just amazing. She is a true performer in every sense!

I haven't seen her on Broadway but I've heard her sing. I'd definitely go to see anything she was in!

I'm planning on seeing "The Caretaker" on Dec. 17. Does anyone know if Patrick Stewart comes out after the matinee performance? Thanks

re: Another Sutton Thread

Oct 26, 2003 — 8:47:26 PM

I saw TMM on Delta Burke's third day into her early start. A huge crowd of people were standing at the stage door waiting for Sutton. She pushed her way through everyone without stopping and got in her car. People asked for autographs but she just drove away. I love Sutton but I thought this was a little strange.
