JOHN LITHGOW: STORIES BY HEART to Play the American Airlines, December 2017-March 2018

surprised he's doing most of this run during the winter.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Any other feedback from people who saw it in 2008 or when it headed to "theatres across the country whenever the actor’s schedule could allow"? Is there a narrative or some structure? It's completely devoid of musical performances, right? This isn't like the recent Kristin Chenoweth show that was a concert with patter. It's just Lithgow speaking, right? I'm somewhat tempted to see it because he's an engaging presence on stage. Though if there's no structure and/or no songs that would be disappointing. For example, the Len Cariou show at Theatre Row was a bit odd as a concept but still enjoyable.

This is kind of a weird memory, but Lithgow seems to have this passion for just telling stories. I remember as a child, my mom bought me this computer game where you could write and print your own storybook and Johnny boy was the "host" of the game.

Sorry to bump this, but I need more reports. I'm already starting my holiday shopping, and my boyfriend is a huge John Lithgow fan. Do you guys think this'll be worth getting Hiptix for?

On the flip side, I've also gotten him into Sondheim, so Sweeney Todd is an option too- but it'll be waaaayyy more expensive and I'm between jobs.

He also is a massive Springsteen lover, but we run into the Sweeney financial issue. HELP!
