Wow...did NOT see that coming. Kind of inspired casting. If this wasn't a sell-out already, it suddenly became the (...second) hottest Summer ticket in New York.

According to Playbill, they are adding a third performance (a matinee on July 2) to accommodate the expected demand.
^HA!
Wonder if this will engender more Jake love among Tony voters for his performance in Constellations. Best male lead is going to be one of the biggest nail bitters of the season.
I'm excited to see Gyllenhaal, but Taran Killam is INSPIRED casting.
I don't think anyone saw this coming.
Taran Killam is pretty amazing casting.
Wonderful casting!
Any word oh who's playing Audrey?

It's right there in the story.
what is this I can't even
I love Ellen, but the May/December thing is gonna be distracting.
She's more than twice his age.

She's more than twice his age."
She's the reason they're doing this concert, though.
What's more distracting is that Jake Gyllenhaal is playing a nebbishy, meek schlemiel.
He's gonna be the beefiest, hottest Seymour ever.
That's some Harold and Maude sh*t happenin up in there!
You could actually switch Gyllenhaal and Killam and it would still be terrific casting.
I have a such a worrying crush on Killam.
Y'all need to shut your ass faces up. This is the most important thing to ever happen in the history of the american musical theater.
Question is: rear mezz center ($50) or rear orch sides ($25)????
Casting Taran Killam is absolutely inspired.
Jordan, I hope you got your tickets. They're selling fast!
"I have tickets for all 3 performances now!"
Atta boy.
