One of Jamie Lloyd's biggest 'stunts' is that he seems to be perfect at casting and there is often a blurry line between the real life context of these stars and these characters.
In Sunset, he managed to find Nicole - a faded popstar who is immensely talented - and put her in Sunset playing a character who is a faded celebrity to great effect.
In R&J, he managed to find Tom Holland - one of the world's most popular heartthrobs - and cast him as Romeo.
In Evita, he managed to find Rachel Z - a polarising charismatic figure - and cast her as a polarising charismatic figure.
I don't think it's a coincidence that he can do this. Other directors with amazing casting sense that come to mind are Hal Prince (think Evita, Sweeney, Parade, Night Music, Follies etc.) and Michael Grief (think RENT, next to normal, Grey Gardens and War Paint).
It would not surprise me if Jamie Lloyd had the 'vision' to cast Reeves in the show from this iconic image of him.
So the real stunt will be an amazing performance.

Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.
