Can NOT wait to see those howler monkey faces she makes when she sings that song, along with that GROWL she does at the end, including those bugged-out eye expressions. To this day I still skip over her performance on the Leading Ladies of Broadway DVD -- it's so damn creepy!

Oy! People will talking about that CRAZY black woman.

Um, Catherine Zeta-Jones didn't thank Chita Rivera when she won her Oscar for CHICAGO, though Barbra Streisand DID thank herself when she won the Oscar for FUNNY GIRL.

Well I heard that the Oscars are kind of centering the night around Dreamgirls. I doubt Ms. Holliday asked to do it. I am sure they approached her. For all that has been going on with her in the last year, it will still be nice to hear her sing it. No matter what, it is her song!

Just found out that she is performing here in Denver at Hamburger Mary's for the Matthew Sheppard foundation event in May (the 18th). $75.00 gets you a VIP ticket and a "possible" meet and greet with Jennifer Holiday.
