Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were found shot to death today. Her sisters 7 year old son has been kidnapped and on the run.

I honestly can't even articulate how I feel about this. It's disgusting, so incredibly sad, and I am genuinely thinking about her and hoping she will be alright. I can't even begin to think how she must feel right now...

This is so devastating and heart-wrenching! What a perilous situation. My deepest sympathies to Jennifer and her entire extended family filling these wounds, and wishes of finding that poor boy safe!

This title makes it sound like Jennifer Hudson was murdered.

Man, what a horrible thing. With her new album selling so well and all these should be great days for her to remember. I can't even imagine having to face something like this.

This is just such awful news. Things were all looking up for Miss Hudson with the Oscar, the role in Sex, and even a new boyfriend (Punk from ILNY) but this is just the worst thing that could happen. To not only lose one close relative, but to lose your mother and brother, and both murdered - it's just so tragic. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

Its horrific news and my heart goes out to her, to loose 2 relatives on the same day and have a 3rd missing is just incomprehensible.I pray for a safe return for her nephew.

The body of a young boy has been found by police but no official identification as yet. This gets sicker and sadder every hour.

Actually, Balfour is the kid's stepfather, not his father.
