		     			Or something Strindberg-ian.

Not surprising. In a recent interview with Charlie Rose she said Miss Julie is her favorite play and she's wanted to do the part for a while.

I think it will be a film version and not a stage piece. I think I read it somewhere.
she can pretty much in anything and i would see it.
Am I the only one who thought her choices in The Heiress were all wrong? She kept doing this like musical "yeeesssSSSSSsss" that got so annoying.
It's indeed a film version. She replaced Michelle Williams in a film version that will be directed by Liv Ullmann.

I thought she was great on film, but in theater....eh
to each their own, thats whats great about art. i sat in the first row, and to me, to see how in the middle of a big scene, she starts tearing up, to me it was just amazing.

A friend's friend and I were discussing this Saturday night and I was wondering if her choice with the "YESSSSSSSSS" and the "I love YOU" was to reflect how extremely emotionally stunted the character is. She doesn't know how to react to any positive attention and in turn responds the way she thinks she's supposed to rather than spontaneously. Florid and dramatic rather than honest.

Of course, the friend's friend just though she was a little, um..."special."

Chastain is one of those rare actresses working today that is capable of doing any damn thing in any medium. Her career is on fire right now, and I look forward to any project she signs on to.
