Despite his protests that he never would, is anyone truly surprised? I'm sure he'll still be excellent.
Someone get the defibrillators for Jordan.
Who didn't see that coming?

I mean, it's not a surprise, but it is definitely extremely exciting.
I mean, it's been a poorly kept discussion, but it's very exciting to have it confirmed.
YAWN. I doubt it's going to do a darn thing for the box office. He's not a huge star.
Let the producers worry about that. Do you really base the potential quality of a performance based on what it will do for sales? (Clue: no)
YES! Just bought premium seats for his first and last shows! Can't wait!
JCM could end up being the last Broadway Hedwig before they close it. The Visit could take the Belasco.
The Lion King could close tomorrow. Bernadette Peters could play Annie. Anything could happen.

Right, but why worry about all that? Just enjoy the show.
Every Hedwig is said to be the last Hedwig before it closes, and every show that closes is the obvious venue for The Visit.
Yeah, I'm not surprised in the least but still SO, SO happy to finally have it confirmed. Incredible.

I just creamed my pants! Fantastic news!
I'd been telling myself that I'd eventually make it to this show before it closes, but this will get me there. Not a well kept secret, but still how exciting!!
" I just creamed my pants!"
Thanks for letting us know...

Forgive me because this is kind of a silly question, but would the 8-week engagement end on March 11 or March 18? I didn't see an ending date in that article and I'm not sure whether January 21 or 28 would be considered "week 1."
" ... would the 8-week engagement end on March 11 or March 18?"
The last scheduled show is Saturday March 14 at 10 pm. I arrive in NYC on March 21 :o(

I'm going.
Fantod and Dreaming--you have no way of knowing just how important his performance and the original production were to many of us. It wasn't only just a play and only just an actor...it was the world bursting open and changing.

BUT BORSTALBOY HAD IT ON GOOD AUTHORITY THAT JOHN CAMERON MITCHELL WILL NEVER PUT THAT WIG ON AGAIN!
Dreaming, were dropped on your head or something?
Only 8 weeks? I'd better get on those tickets fast...

Sounds like you need to reschedule your trip.
