You can always depend on the Broadway.com photos to "out" people--or if they're already out, like Tartaglia was, then reveal their partner. Is it me or is that kind of an invasion of privacy?

I don't think that was broadway.com's intentions. Mr. Tartaglia has been in the public eye for awhile now and I'm guessing that as a couple they decided to reveal their relationship.
