Adorable. And pretty well done too, as a matter of fact.
Jonathan Groff Channels His Inner Sutton Foster to Perform "Anything Goes"
He dances it a whole lot better than I thought he would. Good for him! He looks like he's having a blast, too.
Well done!
He does sound alot like Patti. He did a great job and he is definitely bootylicious.
He looks like he is having so much fun. I think he held his own with the tap. Great job!
Liked his asides (hey, now!) during the tap.
He could be great in Pal Joey if the choreography could be built around him like that.
EDIT: I agree, canmark, I liked his "dialogue" with the dancers during the number. It actually elevated it and really connected them (and the audience) to the steps.

He is so adorable! And that was awesome! I like that idea of these stars performing roles they'll never play. It's a great idea.

He should play Bobby in a Revival of Crazy For You.
How can one person sweat so much?
He's cute though.
Are any other performances floating around the internet? I've always wanted to go to this but have never been able to. There are some great ones from past years floating around Youtube and similar.
Sweat and SPIT!
I still wish they would have recorded that full dance break on the cast album! I love listening to it.
I think it was MCC who posted a pic of him in his tap shoes months ago, so it seems he really has worked for it. It was such an adorable performance and much better than thought it would be.Wonderful.
I could just eat him up, literally.
P.S. Jonnie, two words: pit pads.
^Don't they have prescription stuff that's supposed to stop that? Poor guy needs to see a doctor.
^ Its called botox. I know two people ( yes, they're dancers) who get botox injected into their pits once a year.

OBSESSED and in love with the video, performance, Groff. I will forever remember "a**, a**, a**" when listening to Anything Goes.
Groff is a major spitter ( my mom kept bringing it up when we saw The Submission) but he is so cute and talented :)
Gypsy4 my thoughts exactly - he would make an incredible Bobby.

Amazing! That was really impressive for having taught himself (so it seemed?). I am such a fan of his now; he seems so funny and good-natured.
He wouldn't have needed pit pads if he didnt dance in a dress shirt, tie and sweater. What was he thinking?

There is just something about him....he is just incredibly cute. I don't care if he sweats or spits......I think he's adorable.....
^Don't get me wrong, I love him too. It's just a minor distraction.
