I really hope we get to see this Songs for a New World concert (which plays in London on 9/21/25) in New York City soon. Joy kills it.

Just read the out of town reviews. Why would they bring this in?

I like Joy.  Her voice is not our favorite on this.  It's been sung and performed very well in the past - this feels middling.

The out of town reviews weren’t kind for The Great Gatsby or The Outsiders, but look at them now.

I heard a lot of positive things about Galileo. Is it perfect? No. But so few musicals are, so I don’t see why it shouldn’t transfer if the money and talent are there.

They've had a least one large workshop and several readings since their production last year- work is being done on it. Broadway is obviously their goal but it's not like they're rushing it in.

Woods was also in the workshop prior to their out of town. I saw the presentation and she sounded killer. I'm sure the show is very different now, but I see why they have her back.
