Kara Lindsay Announces Cancer Diagnosis

Kara Lindsay revealed on Instagram on World Cancer Day on February 4th, saying it felt "like the appropriate day to share" she was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer this past fall. She was quick to assure people that she's "going to be ok," feeling "very lucky" to have caught the cancer "early" and quickly beginning eight rounds of chemotherapy, which she just wrapped up on January 30th.

Here's some joyful news. While performing at the "Epcot International Festival of the Arts: Disney on Broadway Concert" Kara had a surprise reunion with four of her original NEWSIES costars, who then regaled her with King of New York.
