Interesting. The producer's have let go of Kong's director, Daniel Kramer and it's book writer, Craig Lucas. Marsha Norman has been brought on to rewrite the book.

Hmm, a director who works with puppets on a large scale highly technical production. I think they need a jewel of a person - someone who could handle lions and spiders. No one comes to mind.

The whole show was a huge mess, it needs more than a new book writer, director. It needs to be just written off a huge waste of money and a flop.

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

This needs way more than a new book.

Doctor Zhivago can I just kill myself it is a terrible musical that does not need to be on Broadway seriously who is the idiot that wants to do this. It seems like Fun Home is the only musical worth seeing

You have such a strong opinion on a show you've never seen that you had to made an account to make that comment?

Yeah, I agree. The scene with him climbing the giant spider-web was the only one in which I felt any emotional connection.

No thanks. Just bring in Miss Saigon sometime in 2015.

I think it'll most likely come in the 2015-16 season... Updated On: 9/5/14 at 11:10 PM

King Kong had a book writer? I'm shocked!

The guy in the hat and the blonde are actually dating :) But no, you can't have them. You just got one of our most talented performers today and you're getting our best musical songwriter in a few weeks, so I think you've got enough talented Aussies for now!

In all seriousness though, I actually loved King Kong. I was skeptical at first, and only booked because I'm friends with Esther (Ann Darrow), but I ended up seeing it three times and got more from it each time. Kong himself is absolutely incredible and the sets and costumes are all amazing. I really liked the songs too, but agree that a new book is in order.

I don't care what anyone says, I love this musical. Yes, it's pure spectacle but I am excited for it to have a chance on Broadway. Can't be any worse than Spider-man.
