Hi everyone,

I have created an online petition to sign for a "La Cage" Revival Cast Album. I will leave the petition active until 2/18/05 at which time it will then be mailed to producers and cast members of "La Cage Aux Folles."

Anyone interested in writing to the producers on their on I encourage you to do so, OR send them to me and I will send a group of letters. My eamil address is visable on this website as well as on the Petition web site!

Wow, this is getting silly. It is just a recording. If the musical stays open after March, they will make one. Calm down, and listen to the original....

Just supporting what we believe in! When all the other shows are getting albums and one of your favorite shows isn't, it's upseting! Anyone's Support is highly appriciated!

Thank you so much for doing this! I have emailed several people in hopes of this coming about. I realize I am just one person and it therefore won't do much, so I greatly appreciate your petition. Please get this out to as many people as you can!

Sorry, but the attitude is unnecessary. At this point, a recording of the revival looks doubtful and the show is not selling nearly as well as it should be. Thus, fans of this production are trying to make themselves heard. There's nothing wrong with that. The original recording has its merits...as one of George Hearn's greatest admirers, I love it! But that doesn't mean that this great score and phenomenal cast should not be preserved on a new album as nearly all Broadway revivals are. It's just people expressing something they care about. I think that's okay =)

All I can say is that writing to them apparently works.

I e-mailed PS Classics many times asking them to record Pacific Overtures and before it was announced that they were recording it, I got an e-mail from the President of PS Classics saying that they had decided to record it due to the number of letter/e-mails/phone calls they had gotten requesting that a recording be made.

So keep trying.

My sources have informed me that as of this point there is no cd planned. So i don't know where the above people have been getting their information. But in the mean time.. SIGN THE PETITION.
