"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor
"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl
"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott

Posted: 6/9/10 at 6:58pmDude, was that kid for real? I hope not but you never know with people....
#5LEAVE ALICE RIPLEY ALONE!
Posted: 6/9/10 at 7:02pmI found that amusing, but it would have had more bite if he was more of a, well. fag.

Cute idea....and funny...but terribly acted. Oh and it would have sounded better and more like the original if he left it at "Leave Ripley Alone!!!"
Great concept though! Kudos!

he could have at least worn eyeliner
are they still really going to protest tonight?
#14LEAVE ALICE RIPLEY ALONE!
Posted: 6/10/10 at 4:50pmI wish I got so much attention every time I say fag. FML.

Posted: 6/10/10 at 8:55pmIt's all starting to sound like that episode of South Park when Mr. Garrison, a homophobic gay man, realized that he was finally allowed to say "fag" without being censored, now that he was out of the closet. "Hilarity" ensued.

Posted: 6/11/10 at 3:00pmAmen. At times I feel like the only one that cares about intonation. Maybe people can't see past the Tony Award, but it's distracting when the rest of the cast is spot on and Ripley is literally a minor second off of her note.

Posted: 6/11/10 at 4:04pmCronana, did you miss the whole discussion of it being a "character choice"? HAHAHA
#18LEAVE ALICE RIPLEY ALONE!
Posted: 6/11/10 at 7:18pmso any update on this? did anybody protest last night or did our little gaysian friend successfully get them to back off? lol
#19LEAVE ALICE RIPLEY ALONE!
Posted: 6/11/10 at 7:21pmThere was never going to be a protest, it was a joke from the beginning.
