The extension helped with my calendar and just got tickets with a friend who worked on the Hollywood Bowl's SUPERSTAR and said that talks are continuing to bring it to Radio City also for a short run.

I would give my left arm to see the Bowl production at Radio City. I know ALW was musing about MSG but I think 3-4 nights at Radio City makes much more sense. The production would glow in that venue.

Cynthia Erivo is doing Dracula from February to end of May
Tony’s are in early June (assuming back at Radio city)
Les Mis is playing Radio City from July 23 to August 9 (maybe it will get extended again)
JCS will do a short stint in June or late August/early September?

Is this like a star studded concert of Les Miz? Guess I missed this whole announcement.

As with the rumors of an Evita transfer, I'll believe it when I see a preview date announced.

i think this would just be a 3-4 night engagement -- semi-staged Hollywood Bowl concert version.

I suppose they’ll be hoping to transfer the Palladium revival now that they’re doing a rotating celebrity Herod format. Will work well in NYC.

You'd be correct, but don't worry — Jamie Lloyd will make sure you'll most likely hear this music in NYC in a couple of years.

Actually, the word I'm hearing on the street is that the reason ALW has begun a renewed push for the Regent's Park staging of JCS in Asia and the UK is that, although he's delighted with the sales and the press, he's a little tired of Jamie Lloyd getting nearly all of the credit for two out of three revitalizations. Apparently, digging this JCS out again is part expediency, part "you'll touch this over my dead body," especially because Lloyd said in the same breath as wanting to do it next that Regent's Park kind of already covered the ground he wanted to tread.
