Ok, so I snagged my tickets for "La Cage" and I'm going to see it 5/25 at 8pm...I have a question about the seats I got.
I have Left Orch Row B Seats 2-4 (First row by stage, On Aisle)
I was wondering if these seats will impede my view of the show or are they adequate and I shouldn't worry...

Posted: 4/17/10 at 12:12pmThe stage is somewhat low, so you maybe miss some footwork as the cabaret tables are directly in front of you, but I don't think otherwise you'll have to worry much at all.

I had the same seats on the opposite side of the theater (Row B, Seats 1 and 3), and honestly I couldn't see a thing. Many of the front row seats, particularly those on the far left- and right-hand sides should be sold as obscured view seating.
The problem is that there are "cabaret-style" tables and chairs in the small space between row B and the stage. And unfortunately, the seat hight of the chairs is higher than the seat height of the first row. If someone of any significant height is seated at one of the tables directly in front of you, your view will be blocked, which happened the night I was there. (The chairs are bolted to the floor, so moving them is not an option.)
Honestly, the show could do without the cabaret table set-up -- there is one dance number where cast members jump on the tables for about 5 seconds, but otherwise they are ignored. And even the people seated at the tables seem rather uncomfortable during the show, as they are not normal theater seats.

Thanks, everythingtaboo for the tip in case i decide to go in the near future. It is also a very great size theatre too because the mezz/balcony are not bad at all.
On a side note my dad wants to see promises promises because of kristen chenoweth.

Well, they paid $251 for them, so they shouldn't be too shocked.

Looking at Future Tickets for this show---Are the mezz Seats Cramped? I am 6'4" and hate when the only place to put my legs is over the shoulder of the person in front of me!! Can be Fun sometimes---depending on the other person involved--LOL!!! I always get aisle seats, put currently showing Row P Orchestra or front row Mezz or aisles up Mezz from there!
Any Thoughts?? Thanks, in advance, for any help on this!

Posted: 4/26/10 at 8:01amI sat in the balcony there a few nights ago, one of the cheapest seats in the house, and my view was great. The balcony was also only about 20% full, so I moved up to row B over a seat and was really able to spread out/cross my legs comfortably.
