In today's Never Have I Ever video with the Dear Evan Hansen cast, a cast member says "I thought after the Patti LuPone video, we could say anything" and the host laughs, acts stupid and says "I don't know what you're talking about." It's around the five minute mark.

If that is an example of Patti Lupone speaking her mind, she must have a very small mind. I would not call that a reasoned, articulate, logical and well thought out criticism of Pres. Trump.
And for those of you who call Trump a homophobe and say that he hates gay people, you do realize that he was in favor of gay marriage long before Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama changed their position for political expediency, right?

That is an absolute and total lie. Trump said during the campaign that he personally opposes gay marriage and would strongly consider nominating SCOTUS judges who would overturn marriage equality cases. He also choose Mike Pence as his running mate, a virulent homophobe who believes that gay people need to undergo conversion therapy, a process that has been correctly compared to torture. Additionally, he has also appointed notorious homophobes like Betsy DeVos and Jeff Sessions to serve in his cabinet. And of course, that doesn't change the fact that he's a racist, xenophobic moron. If you want to support him, fine, but get the hell out of here if you're going to lie.

Don't feed the trolls. Donald Trump and his supporters don't think they're the 21st century version of Hitler and the Third Reich, and it's ludicrous to think they will ever have that epiphany while he remains in power - which based on national events will hopefully be shorter than we had thought.
As for the legendary La LuPone, well... she said what all rational people are thinking. And to those people who don't get it, as Virginia Woolf's Martha would say, "SCREW YOU!"
